Bata, Basa Ta! Anniversary Celebration

What a wonderful and heartwarming celebration it was! Last Sunday, we successfully celebrated the 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗮! 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆, filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and creativity.

The 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 was delighted to host a 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, and seeing so many children excited to participate made the day even more special. Your smiles and confidence after every braid reminded us why community activities like this are so meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to all the children who signed up and joined our braiding session, and to the parents and guardians who came, supported the event, and entrusted us with your little ones while enjoying the program. Your participation and encouragement truly made this celebration a success.

Our deepest gratitude goes to Hon. Annabeth "Mama Abeth" Cuizon, our 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿, for entrusting the Basakanon Youths with this meaningful initiative and for personally celebrating this special milestone with us. Thank you for believing in the potential of our young volunteers and for giving us the opportunity to serve our community through 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗮!

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Mayor Cindi King Chan, for the unwavering support and encouragement that continue to help programs like this grow and reach more children.

To all the youth leaders and heads who have been with us since Day One, thank you for your dedication, guidance, and countless sacrifices. Your commitment has been the foundation of this program, and without your trust and support, we would not have reached this incredible 1st Anniversary milestone.

This anniversary is more than just a celebration of a program—it's a celebration of everyone who believed in its mission to inspire young minds through reading, learning, and community service.

The Tamiya Cluster Youth Organization proudly participated in the 1st Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly held last June 30, 2026 at Barangay Basak Gymnasium.

The Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly is an essential platform that keeps the youth informed about programs, initiatives, and opportunities while giving them a voice in matters that affect their community. It promotes transparency, encourages active participation, and empowers young people to become responsible citizens and future leaders.

By participating in activities like this, we strengthen our commitment to building a more informed, united, and empowered youth sector—because meaningful change begins when every young person chooses to get involved.

Together, let us continue to participate, serve, and lead.

DAY 3 | SUMMER JOB 2026🧹🏘️🌿🍂

Another productive day for the Tamiya Cluster as we successfully conducted our Street Cleaning Activity along Sitio Sto. Niño Road, Basak, early this morning.

A clean environment begins with a willing heart. Through teamwork, dedication, and community spirit, we continue to do our part in making our surroundings cleaner, safer, and more beautiful for everyone.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mayor Cindi King Chan, Congressman Hon. Junard "Ahong" Chan, Barangay Captain Hon. Jasmine "Daday" Chan, and our GAD Focal, Ms. Joan Bolondro, for your support and the opportunities you have given, which enable our youth to take part in protecting and caring for nature.

Thank you to all the hardworking participants who woke up early and gave their time and effort. Your commitment to serving the community is truly appreciated. Together, we prove that even small acts of service can create a big impact.

Last Sunday, February 22 at 11:00 AM, the Tamiya Cluster, together with the ANZAS family, conducted a feeding program at Sitio San Isidro.

Seeing the children smile and feeling their joyful hearts reminded us why service truly matters. Simple moments of sharing food and kindness brought warmth not only to the community but also to everyone who took part.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Shawn Hurley and his group for generously giving goods to the children and their families at Sitio San Miguel. Your kindness continues to make a meaningful difference.
