Went to Bato Carbon Cebu City yesterday to check some flowers for this coming all souls day and also para atong makumusta c manong Quirico who is now drug free and enjoying life with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Bato Carbon is known for drugs but the treatment program he has learned at Safehaven Recovery Village and the love of his family has helped him to recover and decide that he would choose his family and sobriety over shabu.

Manong Quir 30 plus years suffered from shabu addiction now a living miracle that there is HOPE indeed🙏❤️

Pasil Cebu where we used to hang out but today we were able to save another lost soul suffering from the disease of addiction.

Sa una mga perwisyo mi karon ga serbisyo 🙏

Feels good to be back in this place but this time completely a different story. We were once a problem but now part of the solution in saving and restoring lives.❤️

He sought help repeatedly, but during that period, he struggled and relapsed many times. Eventually, he chose to surrender and draw nearer to God, which led him to discover peace, joy, and a clear sense of purpose.

Now, since year 2019 he proudly marks 5 years in sobriety and today October 24 Bop is celebrating his 5th birthday free from drugs, alcohol, and gambling addiction.

After nearly 30 years of celebrating his bday alongside fellow addicts, he now joyfully celebrated this special occassion happily together with his loved ones, family and Christ Centered friends.🙏

Looking good Ate Brandy ,Nog and Cocoy.❤️

Years ago they were just roaming around the streets of Manila and Cebu City. Suffered from depression and addiction and even tagged “hopeless” by many. BUT look at them now.

Joel aka Nognog now working as a volunteer kitchen staff while Ate Brandy and Cocoy has continued their aftercare prograam in Safehaven and looking forward to be going home soon in Manila to be reunited with their families.

Special thank you to Doc Wen Dy for their dental care and to bro Lito Gruet Battle Against Ignorance Foundation Director for all the support nila Ate Brandy, Nognog and Cocoy.

In the early years, we faced numerous obstacles, including financial struggles and criticism, yet we felt called by God to assist others in living fulfilling lives. This program was a way for us to reach those battling addiction and behavioral issues, helping them reclaim their lives. Over time, we witnessed remarkable transformations, such as Kuya Berta in 2020, whose life changed significantly at Safehaven.

Since then, hundreds have found recovery through Safehaven’s program. Recently last September and this month of October we were invited to share our best practices not just in Cebu City but also in Luzon and Mindanao.

God's power is truly remarkable; He is the ultimate source of healing and restoration.🙏

We are so happy for you nurse Ebib❤️

Just this week nurse Ebib shared these photos on her facebook account proudly sharing to the world that she is not only one of Safehaven’s compassionate nurse but an advocate as well helping her co clients to recover.

Yes, Ebib used to be a client in Safehaven Recovery Village. Last 2022 her family called and asked for help. She suffered from depression and was always seen walking around on the Island of Siargao. For years she stopped working as a nurse but after her treatment at Safehaven she got ignited and once again found her purpose in helping saving lives.😍

Thank you nurse Ebib for your heart and we are all so proud of you!!!
