On May 20, 2026, the Leaders of Politics for Service (LPS) successfully conducted the LPS Second General Assembly: State of the Track Address (SOTA). The event served as a meaningful platform to present the accomplishments of the LPS for the Second Semester of the A.Y. 2025โ€“2026. It also became an avenue to recognize the active participation and unwavering support of our LPS members, faculty, and organizations, whose dedication continues to strengthen the LPS. โš–๏ธ

More than a presentation of achievements, the assembly fostered connection between the LPS Sanggunian and the student body. Through this, we continue to uphold transparency, accountability, and genuine service to the LPS community. โœจ

On May 12, 2026, the Leaders of Politics for Service conducted an online forum, Ready, Set, LPS: Your Survival Guide to Internship and Thesis.

The forum is a dedicated peer-mentoring session designed to prepare third-year Law and Policy Studies (LPS) students for their upcoming academic milestones. The activity aligns with the organization's objective to provide opportunities for members to maximize their co-curricular skills and ensure transparency of information. It featured LPS seniors as guest speakers, sharing their firsthand experiences and "survival" strategies during their practicum while also managing their thesis.

The forum not only equipped thirdโ€‘year LPS students with practical strategies for their practicum and thesis, but also strengthened the culture of mentorship and service that defines Leaders of Politics for Service.

As continuous oil price hikes affect the country, many public transportation drivers continue to carry one of the heaviest burdens. With increasing fuel costs and rising prices of basic goods, countless drivers are forced to work longer hours just to support their families and continue serving their communities every day.
In light of this ongoing issue, the Carolinian Political Science Society and its partner organizations aim to extend support and solidarity to our hardworking transport drivers through this initiative. More than simply giving donations, this campaign is about recognizing the sacrifices of the people who keep our roads moving despite economic hardships.
Every peso counts โ€“ each contribution can help fuel not only their journeys, but also hope for better days ahead.
