I have great news. The newspaper in Cebu is not giving out his name, but they did run an article. Matt Cairns, the Australian National whom I got criminal cases filed on in Regional Trial Court in Talisay, has been arrested. At the time we did file the cases on him, I worked with Talisay police, particularly the women officers who were working in the division that handles womens/children cases/ I worked almost daily with them for two weeks. It is not they who were corrupt. It was the NBI and a prosecutor who were corrupt. Matt Cairns has been arrested and was picked up in the company of 6 minor girls. The girls are from Mambaling and that is where Hope House is, and that is why I got involved before. He was trafficking girls in our neighborhood. I had two options, One was shoot him in the head, and the second was file criminal cases. For one thing I just wanted to see what would happen. I gave myself 50 50. We saw that they arrested me instead of the trafficker. I dont like it that so far they have not printed his name. I am told by people in Cebu close to this situation, that Matt is being held without bail, and that the police beat the crap out of him. A couple of my people in Cebu have been tracking Matt for sometime. He moved to Minganilla and I was appraised of his whereabouts. We have been gathering evidence for two years and working with the women officers in Talisay to take this guy down. I was aware of where Matt was and what he was doing while I was in prison. I was tempted to just call in a hit and take him out, but I struggled with that. Some in prison said, get him busted and let him come here where you are. I asked God about it and waited for a very clear answer. God said, just have patience, I will take him down when the time is right. We will continue to monitor this situation. If Matt wants to buy his way out this time, its going to cost a lot of money. I don't think he has that much, but I don't know. Since the police beat him up, there is something else going on here. I have a good number of friends in Cebu and they may have done it just based on them knowing what happened, or it could be any number of reasons. He may have trafficked the wrong girl. He did that when he trafficked three of our hope house girls. My contacts tell me that Matt is in big trouble. This is happy news, and I am so happy about it. The children we serve live in a poverty area and those are the areas were traffickers work.
