Putting others first, giving hope, and spreading smiles—the simplest gestures that light up the world.

The Christmas Party we hosted at Kang-atis Elementary School on December 17, 2023, was a heartwarming way to conclude our year. Beyond the festive costumes and lively atmosphere, it embodied the true spirit of the season—sharing joy and creating lasting memories. The support from dedicated teachers and enthusiastic parents, evident in their delightful dance presentations, added an extra layer of warmth to the occasion. Witnessing smiles on everyone's faces was a powerful reminder that spreading happiness is a gift that transcends the boundaries of wrapped packages, fostering hope and love within our community.

Nevertheless, the true gift was witnessing the incredible support from parents and teachers, extending beyond academics to shape students' daily lives and foster their growth. This serves as a reminder that, much like the warmth of the holiday season, a strong support system is the most precious gift we can give. After all, the best gifts are not wrapped in paper. We embarked on a journey with the hope of making a positive impact on the lives of others, only to discover that today, it was their joy that left an indelible mark on our hearts! Witnessing the radiant happiness on the faces of students, teachers, and parents has truly become the most heartwarming conclusion to our project this year.

Expressing gratitude feels insufficient as we convey appreciation to those who generously supported through donations and actively participated in both the preparations and the actual event.

We eagerly anticipate seeing you all again in our upcoming projects! In the spirit of the season, we extend heartfelt wishes for an early Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year!

The Project HOPE team is grateful for the opportunity to participate in this year's Community Extension Service for the children of Sitio Puras in Cebu City. In celebration of Book Week, Angelique Nichole led a book reading activity and later distributed teddy bears of hope, symbolizing comfort, support, and the power of literacy. We're thrilled to contribute to nurturing a love for reading and bringing smiles to the faces of these young readers.

Donation Update: If you are feeling generous and looking for a way to bring hope to the lives of others this Christmas season, this is your sign!

As of 12:00 PM on December 2, 2023, we have collected 6,300 in funds. However, considering that KES has 210 students, we still have a long way to go to ensure we can purchase Jollibee Packed meals for all 210 students of KES.
