Sa matag pag-ampo ug paghiusa, atong handumon ang iyang Liturgical Feast nga ginasaulog matag Agosto 16, ug atong sundon ang iyang panig-ingnan sa pagserbisyo ug gugma alang sa uban.

Mag-ampo kita:
O labing maloloy-on nga Diyos
nga pinaagi sa usa ka anghel
misaad kang San Roque,
nga bisan kinsa ang maggamit sa iyang ngalan
maluwas gikan sa kamatayon
ug sa mga sakit nga makatakod.
Itugot nga pinaagi sa iyang pagpangamuyo
maluwas kami
gikan sa tanan nga mga katalagman sa kalag ug lawas
pinaagi kang Kristo nga among Ginoo.

Today, we honor Our Lady of Sorrows, the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose heart was filled with immeasurable sorrow as she faithfully accompanied her Son, Jesus Christ, throughout His Passion and death.

Maryโ€™s sorrows remind us of the depth of a motherโ€™s love and the strength of a faith that remains steadfast even in the midst of unimaginable suffering. At every moment, she trusted in God and remained close to Jesus.

The Seven Sorrows of Mary:
The Prophecy of Simeon โ€“ when Simeon foretold the suffering that would pierce Mary's heart.
The Flight into Egypt โ€“ when Mary and Joseph fled with the Child Jesus to escape Herod.
The Loss of Jesus in the Temple of Jerusalem โ€“ when Mary experienced the anguish of losing Jesus and searched for Him.
The Meeting of Mary and Jesus on the Way to Calvary โ€“ when she encountered her suffering Son carrying His Cross.
Mary Standing at the Foot of the Cross of Jesus โ€“ when she remained faithfully beside Him as He gave His life.
The Receiving of the Dead Body of Jesus into Mary's Arms โ€“ when she received and embraced the lifeless body of her beloved Son.
The Burial of Jesus โ€“ when Mary witnessed the burial of Jesus and entrusted her sorrow to God.

May the Seven Sorrows of Mary remind us that suffering, when united with faith and love, can become a path toward deeper trust in God.

May Our Lady of Sorrows comfort all who are grieving, strengthen those who carry heavy burdens, and accompany those who are facing pain and difficult trials. May she teach us, as she taught us through her life, to remain faithful to Jesus even in the darkest moments.

Mater Dolorosa, ora pro nobis.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the birthday of our beloved Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV.

We thank God for the gift of his life, his vocation, and his faithful service to the Church. May the Lord continue to bless him with wisdom, strength, good health, and courage as he shepherds the People of God and leads the Church closer to Christ.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, always accompany and protect him, and may San Roque, our beloved patron, intercede for him and for his ministry.

Ad multos annos, Holy Father!
May God grant you many more blessed years in His service.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, also lovingly remembered by many as the Feast of Santa Cruz. We honor the Holy Cross as the sacred sign of Christโ€™s immense love, sacrifice, and victory over sin and death.

The Cross is precious because upon it, Jesus offered Himself completely for our salvation. It reminds us that even in suffering, there is hope; even in sacrifice, there is love; and even in our darkest moments, God never abandons us.

As we celebrate Santa Cruz, may we always cherish the Holy Cross and allow its message to guide our lives. May it strengthen us in times of trial, give us courage to carry our own crosses, and lead us ever closer to Jesus.

We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world.

How precious is the name of Mary, our Blessed Mother, who gave her whole life in loving obedience to God and faithfully stood beside Jesus from His birth to the foot of the Cross. Her name brings comfort to the weary, hope to those who are troubled, and reminds us that we are never alone when we place our trust in God.

As we honor the Most Holy Name of Mary, may we learn from her humble and faithful heart. May her name always lead us closer to Jesus, and may we never hesitate to call upon her loving intercession in our joys, struggles, and prayers.
