The University of Southern Philippines Foundation has approved the proposal for Uniform Exemption submitted by the USPF Supreme Student Government in Response to the Increasing Heat Index.

In consideration of rising temperatures, the proposal is approved with these key guidelines:

โฃใ€€โ€ข No ID, No Entry - Students must wear their School IDs at all times when inside the campus.โฃ
ใ€€โฃ
ใ€€โ€ข Strict adherence to USPF Dress Code - Make sure to wear clothes and foot wear that are appropriate for school as indicated by the Universityโ€™s dress code. Departmental shirts are allowed. โฃ
ใ€€โฃ
ใ€€โ€ข The uniform exemption does not apply to students on Field Study (FS), Related Learning Experience (RLE), and On-the-Job Training (OJT).

The Uniform Exemption will be in effect for the remainder of the SY 2025-2026 Second Semester.

MASK UP, USPIANS!

According to the Environmental Management Bureau Central Visayas, a persistent haze has settled over Metro Cebu since April 17, 2026, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) has climbed to an alarming 199 as of April 19 and 177 as of April 20 (VERY UNHEALTHY).

At this AQI level, the air quality is now a concern for everyone, not just those with pre-existing conditions. Hence, please protect your health during this period by minimizing outdoor activities and wearing protection if you must go outside. A well-fitted N95 or KN95 mask is recommended as a standard cloth or surgical mask is not enough for the current situation.
