Peer Education Ladderized Training: Level 1 (Open Space)

About 48 youth leaders from different barangays in the Municipality of Medellin and its island barangay participated in the Ladderized Peer Education Training – Level 1, which guides them to open themselves up and become more aware of themselves, their surroundings, and their community, particularly the situation of their fellow youth.

The ladder-like Peer Education Training Module for adolescents is an initiative of COMMISSION ON POPULATION AND DEVELOPMENT(CPD) VII and ACTIVE LEADERS AND PEER ADVOCATES FOR GREATER ADOLESCENT HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT (ALAGAHD) VII under the AHDP and consists of four levels:

Level 1 – Peer Volunteer (Open Space)
Level 2 – Peer Facilitating (Life Skills)
Level 3 – Peer Education (ASRH)
Level 4 – Peer Interpersonal Communication
