✨ Grateful Pilgrims: A Three-Year Journey of Love and Service ✨

On May 1, 2025, Virgen De los Remedios Parish A. Lopez Labangon joyfully marked its 3rd Anniversary as an institutionalized and recognized Parish Caritas under Cebu Caritas Inc. The celebration began with a solemn Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Gab Bellino, joined by Parish Caritas recipients, volunteers, stakeholders, and partner communities.
A true milestone of mission and mercy, the day was made more meaningful with the blessing and turnover of our newest livelihood initiative Panadera sa Parokya, in partnership with CIT University’s Community Extension Services and NSTP.

From hydroponic lettuce to food carts, candle-making to vending machines and dishwashing liquid making, and now a parish bakery — we remain faithful to our mission:
not to give fish forever, but to teach our Anawims how to fish. 🎣💛
The celebration beautifully concluded with a simple salo-salo, recognition of our valued stakeholders, partner communities, and tireless volunteers, and moving testimonies on how being a Parish Caritas volunteer is truly a wonderful and life-giving journey.
