I hope everyone is safe and holding up well after Bagyong Tino. We know many of our fellow Scihiyistas have been deeply affected by the recent calamity, and our thoughts are with each and every one of you.

In light of this, we are knocking on your kind hearts for donations to help those who were severely impacted. Any amount or form of help will go a long way. You can also help by boosting this post to reach more people and extend our support further.

Project Bisig: Tabang Oras sa Kalamidad 🤝
Batch 1 — Success! 💙💛

With gratitude and pride, we celebrate the success of Batch 1 of our donation drive for the earthquake-affected communities in Cebu.

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the generous contributions of our donors and the dedication of our student volunteers, who tirelessly helped sort, pack, and prepare the relief goods. Your time, effort, and teamwork reflect the true spirit of compassion and bayanihan. 💙

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the collaborating organizations — Club Mega, SciHi Knights, SciHi Angels, Interact Club, and SSLG — for their unity and hard work in making this initiative possible.

Together, we prove that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Let’s continue extending our hands of hope through the next batches of Project Bisig: Tabang Oras sa Kalamidad.

As of October 3, 2025 9:30 PM, we have received an amount of 𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬-𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗛𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗬-𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀 (₱25,845.00).

This increase opens the door for us to touch more lives and extend greater help to affected families. Truly, every peso carries with it hope, compassion, and the power to make a difference.

After less than a day of posting the announcement regarding the donation drive, we have successfully reached an amount of 𝗦𝗜𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗛𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀 (₱16,800.00, as of October 2, 2025 9:31 PM). ✨

Part of the proceeds will be given to one of SciHi's teachers, Sir Joshua Comendador, and his family, who were deeply affected by the earthquake.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this donation drive. Your generosity brings hope and comfort to those in need. 🤍

Following the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Northern Cebu with its epicenter in Bogo City on September 30, 2025, let’s come together to extend our helping hands to affected families and support their recovery.

📌 Donation Details:
• October 2–17: Receiving of Cashless Monetary Contributions
• Resumption of Classes (Face-to-Face): Receiving of In-kind Donations

💙 For In-kind Donations, we are accepting:
• Non-perishable food items
• Bottled drinking water
• Clothes and blankets
• Relief goods and emergency kits
• Hygiene products (soap, sanitary needs, disinfectants, etc.)
