🤝𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬: 𝐔𝐂 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — The University of Cebu - Banilad CARES successfully convened , the 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀’ 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 at the UC - Banilad College Building, Events Hub Room 518.

The program featured a keynote workshop led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗻, focusing on 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨. This session underscored the importance of evidence‑based approaches in advancing UC CARES’ mission of community engagement and academic excellence.

In the afternoon, UC CARES Coordinators presented ongoing and prospective Community Extension Programs, joined by partner 𝗡𝗚𝗢 𝗝𝗖𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗲 and prospective partner 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰. (𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗜). Their participation highlighted the collaborative spirit between academia and civil society in addressing community needs.

Through this annual review and planning, UC - Banilad CARES reaffirms its commitment to fostering sustainable, research‑driven initiatives that strengthen partnerships and create meaningful impact in the communities it serves.
