On January 21, 2026, Project Higala brought joy, smiles, and a spirit of generosity to the Ati children as we welcomed the New Year through this meaningful outreach activity. Present during the activity were Dr. Rene D. Osorno, Ma’am Debie Osorno, and faculty members of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management: Ms. Maria Isabel A. Guillen, Mr. Joshua Ong, Ms. Maryneil A. Cumahig, Ms. Donna Kristine Tiodianco, Mr. Aljens Agbay, and Mr. Reynold Nisnisan (Lab Supervisor) together with the HM CARES Volunteers and Society of Junior Hoteliers-Banilad (SJH-B)Officers.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Adriana Gravador, Ms Eco International Australia 2025, DJ Triq and Australian Friends for their generous donation that made this initiative possible. May this activity continue to inspire compassion, service, and hope for our Ati children. ✨

Baling Spirits Bright Guidelines:

★ Participant shoud form groups of 4 in advance. This will be your group during the workshop.

★ Registration for the Morning Session will be at 7:30 AM (1A, 1C, and 1E). Afternoon Session will be at 12:30 PM (1B, 1D, and 1AE).

★ Ingredients are provided. The Registration fee covers what you will need.

★ Students will be the one to borrow and clean the needed tools and equipment from the Main Kitchen. A list of tools and equipment will be listed in the registration area for reference.

★ Eveyone is encouraged to wear their Chef’s Uniform. If you do not have one, please wear apron and hairnet.

★ Have fun and enjoy!
