โ๐๐๐๐ | The Nursing Student Body Organization (NSBO) held its First Official Meeting and Strategic Planning on August 18, 2026, at Room 104, Agustin Jereza Building. The session was led by the newly elected President and attended by the incoming officers, outgoing President, and NSBO Adviser.

โCentered on transparency, accountability, and continuity, the meeting provided an opportunity to formally turn over important records and updates from the previous school year while setting a clear direction for the year ahead.

โAs part of the transparency report, the outgoing Treasurer presented the financial report. The outgoing Secretary presented the accomplishment report, highlighting the organizationโs completed activities, initiatives, and contributions to the nursing student community. Meanwhile, the newly elected Secretary presented the strategic plan for S.Y. 2026โ2027, outlining the organizationโs proposed direction, priorities, and plans for the upcoming school year.

โThe meeting also covered the officersโ respective roles and responsibilities, upcoming activities, proposed programs, and other matters concerning the nursing student community. Through open discussions, proper turnover, and collaborative planning, the officers were able to establish a clearer and more organized direction for the organization.

โA proposed timetable of activities was also drafted to serve as a guide in implementing the plans and ensuring that each initiative is properly scheduled, coordinated, and communicated.

โMore than just a first meeting, the session served as a step toward building an organization grounded in transparency, responsible leadership, proper documentation, and accountability. By keeping records open, responsibilities clear, and plans well-communicated, the NSBO aims to strengthen the trust and participation of the nursing student community.
