Christian growth was never meant to happen in isolation.

God has designed Christian community and accountability as means by which we grow toward maturity. Yet accountability can be difficult because our hearts naturally desire independence, we do not always want others interfering with our lives.

But biblical accountability also means being willing to confront and to be confronted in love. At times, one of the most loving things a brother can do is to lovingly speak the truth when we are drifting.

May we become brothers who are willing to be known, corrected, encouraged, and sharpened for the glory of Christ.

Are we willing to love one another enough to speak the truth and humble enough to receive it?

The Power of the Gospel - Week 11

Because we have been justified by faith through Jesus Christ, we now have peace with God, access into His grace, and the sure hope of His glory. What a comfort to know that our standing before God does not rest on our performance, but on the finished work of Christ.

How should the reality that you now have peace with God and access to His presence change the way you approach Him in prayer, worship, and daily life?

Women’s Bible Study (August 8, 2026)

His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
— John 2:5

In today’s bible study we looked at story of Jesus’ first sign which was at a wedding at Cana. Today’s lessons can be summed up into 4 points:

1. Invite Jesus to every area of your life.
2. Bring your needs to Jesus first.
3. Do whatever He tells you to do.
4. Keep your eyes on Jesus. The miracle is not the destination. Jesus is.

After discussion, we also reviewed our week 2 assignment from our Study of Scripture series to apply what we learned.

The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.

Joint Bible Study and Dinner Fellowship (July 31, 2026)

Evangelism is the faithful communication of the good news about Jesus Christ to unbelievers, calling them to turn from sin and trust in Christ for salvation. It is a matter of great importance because the proclamation of the gospel stood at the heart of Christ’s earthly mission and remains central to the mission He entrusted to His church.

Yet while believers are responsible to proclaim the gospel clearly and faithfully, God alone accomplishes salvation. We may plant and water, but only God can open the heart, grant repentance and faith, and give new life.

The gospel is truly the greatest and most wonderful news: that the eternal and holy God has shown His amazing and everlasting love toward sinners through Jesus Christ. When we truly see the beauty of God revealed in Christ’s redemptive work, the fitting response is to praise Him and make this good news known.
