Women’s Bible Study (September 12, 2026)
My son, keep your father’s commandment,
and forsake not your mother’s teaching.
Bind them on your heart always;
tie them around your neck.
When you walk, they will lead you;
when you lie down, they will watch over you;
and when you awake, they will talk with you.
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light,
and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life,
to preserve you from the evil woman,
from the smooth tongue of the adulteress.

Proverbs 6 is a rich chapter that can teach Christian women what they must avoid. We learn that a Christian woman should not be a foolish helper, not be a slacker, not be an evildoer and not be adulterous. In this afternoon’s session, we reflected upon the foregoing and confessed our struggles with one another. We ended with prayer and asked God to change our hearts for ultimately our struggles with sin start with our heart and not our behavior. May God help us to obey Him. May we all became women pleasing unto the LORD
