𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 🌱

Last July 27, 2026, RAFI One to Tree, in partnership with GCash, formally turned over its mangrove conservation projects to the communities of San Remigio, and Medellin, Cebu, marking another milestone in community-led environmental stewardship.

With the collaboration of RAFI One to Tree, the barangay and municipal governments of Brgys. Victoria and Tambongon, in San Remigio and Brgy. Tindog, in Medellin Cebu, members of Victoria Community-Based Management Resource Association (VCBRMA), Nagkahiusang Mananagat sa Tambongon (NAGMATA), and Rural Workers Association of Tindog (RWAT), the project successfully planted and maintained 250,000 mangrove seedlings from 2024-2026 with a closing average survival rate of 90.7% across planting sites.

As these projects are formally turned over now in 2026, we celebrate the communities who will carry this work forward, taking ownership of the enriched mangrove areas and continuing to protect Cebu's coastal ecosystems for the future.

Supported by the ATRAM Group, RAFI One to Tree marked the turnover of a mangrove tree-growing project in Brgy. Tindog, Medellin, Cebu, together with the members of the Rural Workers Association of Tindog (RWAT) last July 27.

With 1,000 mangrove seedlings, the project has achieved a closing average survival rate of 93% as of Q2 2026, reflecting the care and commitment invested in its growth. 📈🌳

Much like investing, restoring ecosystems takes patience and a long-term vision. Through this initiative, ATRAM helped support healthier coastal ecosystems and stronger environmental resilience in the communities of Brgy. Tindog.

Here’s to growing value, one mangrove at a time. 🌱

𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣! ✅
Last July 30, RAFI One to Tree conducted a PO Capacity Development Planning Workshop with the Sacsac Farmers Association (SAFA) of Pinamungajan, Cebu. Through the activity, people's organization (PO) leaders and members identified organizational gaps, strengthened their planning skills, and developed the initial Capacity Development Plan to support their growth as an organization.

Building stronger and more resilient POs means nurturing community champions who can drive sustainable development and environmental stewardship, advancing RAFI One to Tree's vision of empowered communities caring for both people and nature. 💚🌳
