Lead & Learn: A Student Leadership and Academic Success Seminar โœจ

CARES took the lead in empowering minds and hearts in Alaska Mambaling National High School ๐Ÿ’•

Together with student leaders from UC METC, CARES organized and facilitated a seminar focused on leadership and academic success.

D/C Mitchell Seguerra II shared an inspiring discussion on โ€œTAKE THE HELM: Empowering Young Minds to Become Future Student Leaders,โ€ encouraging students to develop confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills.

Meanwhile, E/C Andrew Felicitas talked about โ€œSTUDY HABITS: Study in Your Own Way,โ€ emphasizing that every learner has a unique and effective approach to studying.

Through engaging discussions and shared experiences, the team provided the community with practical tips and inspiration to lead with purpose and excel in their studies.

This outreach embodies CARESโ€™ mission to serve, uplift, and create lasting impact through education and leadership development.

Yesterday, UC-METC CARES brought warmth, joy, and service spirit to Paglawig 2026โ€”with a booth adorned in soft pink hues, white accents, floating balloons, and cherished photos of memories that tell our story of service.

Students flocked to our booth to play games, collect pins and stickers, and learn how they can be part of a community that serves with purpose. And thanks to your amazing support, CARES took home THREE well-deserved awards:
