REGISTER NOW! | On October 3–4, 2026, the Archdiocese of Cebu will hold the 2nd Cebu Metropolitan Catholic Mass Media Congress (CMCMMC) at the Recoletos Coliseum, University of San Jose-Recoletos – Basak Campus, Cebu City.

Carrying the theme, “To Work and To Take Care” (Genesis 2:15), this year's congress places Human Dignity at the Heart of AI Innovation in Media Ministry, drawing inspiration from the recent encyclical of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, Magnifica Humanitas.

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the media landscape, Catholic communicators are called not only to embrace innovation but also to ensure that technology remains at the service of the human person.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

While the congress is primarily organized for participants from the Archdiocese of Cebu and its suffragan dioceses, we warmly welcome media ministers, communicators, clergy, religious, and lay faithful from other archdioceses and dioceses who wish to be part of this conversation and mission.

Join fellow Catholic communicators, learn from inspiring speakers, engage in meaningful dialogue, and help shape a future where faith, technology, and human dignity walk hand in hand.

For registration details, please see the photos attached or visit: cmcmmc.thearchdioceseofcebu.com

Rayna sa Langit (Cebuano Version)

P: Rayna sa langit, paglipay, Aleluya.

P: Nabanhaw, sumala sa iyang giingon, Aleluya.
T: Iampo mo kami sa Diyos, Aleluya.
P: Pagsadya ug paglipay, Birhen Maria, Aleluya.
T: Kay tinuod nga nabanhaw ang Ginoo, Aleluya.
Mag-ampo kita:
Amen.

60th World Communications Sunday ✨

Established by Pope Paul VI in 1967, World Communications Sunday calls the Church to reflect on how we use media and communication to share the Gospel and serve our communities.
This celebration reminds us that:

✨ Every conversation is an opportunity to build bridges
✨ Words have the power to heal or harm
✨ Listening is as important as speaking
✨ Truth and charity must go hand in hand

In a world of constant digital noise, let's recommit to communicating with honesty, respect, and genuine human connection.

How will you use your voice to bring people together today?

A Partnership Rooted in Beauty, Faith, and Cebuano Culture

Following months of dedicated preparation since our formal meeting this past March, we are honored to witness the fruition of a meaningful partnership between Msgr. Agustin Ancajas and Santo Niño de Cebu Publishing House. The contract signing ceremony for his highly anticipated second book was solemnly held at Teatro Rosita—the esteemed venue where Teatro de San Pedro Calungsod brings compelling narratives to life.

Msgr. Ancajas' literary and theatrical works draw profound inspiration from “Via Pulchritudinis” (The Way of Beauty), demonstrating how Cebuano culture and the arts can serve as tangible resources for evangelization and catechetical teaching. This partnership embodies one of the many meaningful facets of CaCoSco's (Cebu Archdiocese Commission on Social Communication) broader mission: communicating the faith in all its forms through our rich Sugbuanoang Pinulongan.

This significant milestone was graced by distinguished representatives: Rev. Fr. Ion Miranda, OSA, of the Philippine Augustinians Development Office Inc. (PADO) and Santo Niño Publishing House (SNPH); Ms. Carmelita Egot, Deputy Director of PADO; Ms. Arly Deiparine, Project Coordinator of SNPH; Ms. Haidee Palapar, Consultant for CaCoSco; and the author himself, Msgr. Agustin Ancajas.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Cebu media team for their valued presence and continued support in amplifying this cultural and spiritual endeavor. To the faithful parishioners who witnessed this momentous occasion, your steadfast encouragement fuels our collective mission to preserve and celebrate our linguistic heritage as a living vessel of faith.

One year of peace, hope, and faith ✨

Marking the first anniversary of Pope Leo XIV's pontificate today. His opening message — "Peace be with you all" — has shaped a year of calling for reconciliation, unity, and hope in our world.

Grateful for his leadership and witness as the Church continues to bring light to those who need it most. 🙏

𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 & 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 | With grateful and joyful hearts, we return once again to Colegio de San Antonio de Padua Official (CSAP), Guinsay, Danao City, Cebu for a very special encounter of faith through theater, now on our second time bringing this meaningful production to the CSAP community.

As part of this year’s Recollection with the theme:
“Journeying as One CSAP Family: Anchored in Faith, Uplifted by Hope, Empowered by Christ,” Teatro de San Pedro Calungsod humbly offers a series of plays that reflect life’s realities, struggles, choices, family, forgiveness, vocation, and our journey back to God.

This performance is dedicated especially to the graduating students together with their parents, as they celebrate not only academic milestones, but also their shared journey of faith, love, and hope. More than a performance, this is a moment of reflection, renewal, and encounter with Christ told through the beauty of Cebuano theater. CSAP family, we are honored to journey with you once again. Let us be inspired, renewed, and strengthened in faith and hope together.

Mabuhi ang Sugbuanong Teatro ug Pinulungan! Mabuhi ang Teatro de San Pedro Calungsod! To God be all the glory. See you CSAP!

TSPC UPCOMING SHOWS | Second Quarter 2026

With hearts full of gratitude, Teatro de San Pedro Calungsod (TSPC) of the The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu humbly thanks the Lord for the grace-filled journey we experienced during the Lenten season. Through a series of recollections and theater presentations, we were blessed to serve different communities, bringing stories of faith, sacrifice, and hope to life on stage. Each performance became an offering, an opportunity to evangelize, to touch hearts, and to remind people of God’s enduring love.

As we move forward, our mission continues. What began as a simple calling has now become a growing movement, a traveling theater for evangelization. With renewed strength and deeper purpose, we continue to go where we are called, sharing meaningful productions rooted in faith, culture, and devotion. Every stage we step on becomes sacred ground, and every audience becomes part of our mission to inspire, uplift, and bring people closer to God through the gift of theater.

More shows are still being finalized, and new schedules will soon be announced. To our partner parishes, schools, and organizations, thank you for trusting TSPC. Your trust strengthens our commitment to serve with excellence and humility. If you wish to bring TSPC to your community or parish, we warmly invite you to message our official page Teatro de San Pedro Calungsod or contact 0999-706-3949 (TSPC Coordinator) for .

The journey continues. The mission remains. Mabuhi ang Sugbuanong Teatro! TSPC, A Traveling Theater for Evangelization. Promoting Cebuano religious culture to the world.

To God be the Glory!
