TOMORROW, WE COME TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE CATHOLIC MEDIA!

The countdown is almost over! Tomorrow, October 4, we gather for the 2nd Cebu Metropolitan Catholic Mass Media Awards (CM-CMMA), a celebration honoring the dedication, creativity, and service of those who use the gift of media to share stories of truth, hope, faith, and inspiration.

We begin our gathering with the Holy Eucharist, giving thanks to God for the gifts, people, and stories that make this ministry possible.

Join us as we recognize this year's outstanding works and celebrate the people behind them.

May this gathering remind us that Catholic media is not simply about telling stories, but about using our platforms to bring truth, hope, and faith to others.

Happy Anniversary, Archbishop Abet! ✨

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, AAU! | On September 30, 2025, Most Rev. Alberto “Abet” Uy was installed as the 5th Metropolitan Archbishop of Cebu, beginning a new chapter of shepherding the Archdiocese.

A year later, the good Archbishop has journeyed to many parishes across the Archdiocese, encountered and accompanied the clergy and faithful, and launched and led various initiatives and programs as the local Church continues its journey toward 2034 and beyond.

Through these journeys, encounters, and efforts, he continues to accompany the Church of Cebu with a spirit of service, communion, and mission.

As he marks his first anniversary as Archbishop of Cebu, we continue to pray that God, through the loving mantle and intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may grant him good health, strength, joy, and steadfast dedication as he faithfully leads God’s flock.

May his ministry continue to bear fruit for the people of God and for the Church of Cebu.

Becoming a Listening Church 🕊️

The Year of Hope taught us to look forward in faith, to trust in God's promises even amid uncertainty and change. But hope does not end in waiting. Hope moves us to listen, to accompany, and to respond.

As we journey forward, we are called to become a Listening Church— one that makes room for every voice, listens with compassion, and recognizes God's presence in the stories and experiences of His people.

To listen is more than to hear. It is to understand. It is to accompany. It is to discern together.

From hoping for a better tomorrow to listening to one another today, may our Church continue to walk together—attentive to the Spirit, open to our communities, and close to those who long to be heard.

Because a Church that listens is a Church that walks with her people. 🤍
