What can we do when we experience fright, flight, or freeze after traumatic experiences? What can we do when we see this happening to our children or those who are most vulnerable? What can we do when our communities and schools have become so complicated all of a sudden?
As adults, it is easy to dismiss these emotions or feel frustrated with others who can’t simply move on quick enough or toughen up. But if we look close enough, we will see how these have taken root in our families, our communities, and our children. Unprocessed and unmet trauma needs will find a way to show up in the most unrecognizable and desperate ways.
The Emergency Pedagogy framework utilizes multiple nurturing and supportive modalities to address these needs before it can take root. Join us in the series of introducing the different modalities starting with Bothmer Movement with Dr. Ferdinand Brawner on October 17, 2026, Saturday, 9:00am - 12:00 noon. SAVE THE DATE!
