Sa kabila ng malalakas na ulan at mabilis na pagtaas ng baha dulot ng Habagat, patuloy ang 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 – 𝘾𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 sa maagap na pag-monitor at pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan.
Sa pangunguna ng ating dedicated staff at volunteers, katuwang ang Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter Dasmariñas City Branch at Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter - Silang Branch, patuloy ang ating humanitarian response mula sa Rescue at pagtulong sa mga stranded dahil sa baha, Child-Friendly Activities at health promotion para sa mga individual at bata na nasa evacuation centers, First Aid Stations sa evacuation centers, Clearing operations sa mga pangunahing daanan at patuloy na monitoring sa ating Areas of Responsibility (AOR)

This National Heroes Day, the Philippine Red Cross honors the courage and sacrifice of the heroes who fought for our nation—and celebrates the spirit of heroism that continues to live in Filipinos who choose to serve others.

Today, heroism can be found in every volunteer who runs toward an emergency, every responder who reaches communities in times of disaster, every blood donor who gives a part of themselves so another may live, and every Filipino who extends a helping hand without expecting anything in return.

Ang Philippine Red Cross – Cavite Chapter, katuwang ang Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter - Silang Branch Health Service Team, ay patuloy na sumusuporta sa 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗱𝗮𝘀: 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘀-𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗠𝗥-𝗦𝗜𝗔) sa mga komunidad ng City Government of Imus, City Government of Bacoor, Municipal Government of Silang at Municipality of Naic, Cavite

Bilang katuwang ng pamahalaan sa larangan ng humanitarian action, sama-samang kumikilos ang aming mga staff at volunteers kasama ang Department of Health (Philippines), Office of the Provincial Health Officer - Cavite at local health upang palakasin ang vaccination, community engagement at health promotion, lalo na sa mga vulnerable at hard-to-reach communities.

Umiikot din ang 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝘀/𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀 upang mas mailapit ang serbisyo ng pagbabakuna sa mga komunidad at matulungan ang mga batang mas mahirap maabot.

​Continuing its multi-disaster response operations under the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and Tropical Cyclones Luis, Dolphin, and Maymay, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) conducted extensive relief distribution operations today, August 15, 2026, across multiple barangays and evacuation centers in Kawit, Cavite.

​Mobilizing a dedicated team of 40 —comprising Chapter Board of Directors, staff members, and volunteers—the PRC team delivered vital relief items to 324 families across key distribution sites in Kawit:

​Brgy. Gahak (Barangay Hall & Calle Onse): Served 132 families.

​Kawit Binakayan New Public Market Evacuation Area: Served 20 families.

​Brgy. Marulas (Barangay Hall, Aroma St., and Late St.): Served 172 families.

​Total Relief Distributed:

​Family Food Packs: 324 Boxes (1 box per family)

​P&G Hygiene Kits: 648 Pieces (2 pieces per family)

​Softex T-Shirts: 3,240 Pieces (10 pieces per family)

Sa patuloy na epekto ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), agad na kumilos ang 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀–𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, katuwang ang Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter - Silang Branch upang maghatid ng tulong at pagkain sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng pagbaha at storm surge sa ibat ibang Evacuation Center sa Cavite.

Nagsagawa ang 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮 at mga 𝘝𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘴 ng bread distribution sa mga apektadong komunidad sa Brgy. Sabang at Mabolo, Naic; Brgy. Gahak at Marulas, Kawit; Brgy. 62, Cavite City; at Brgy. Iba, Silang, Cavite, kabilang ang ating mga frontliner at volunteers, sa kabuuan, 800 loaves ng Gardenia bread ang matagumpay na naipamahagi sa mga pamilyang nangangailangan sa Luis Francisco community. ❤️

Maraming salamat sa Gardenia Philippines sa inyong bukas-pusong suporta. Sa inyong tulong, nakapaghatid tayo hindi lamang ng pagkain, kundi pati kalinga, pag-asa, at ginhawa sa mga pamilyang dumaranas ng pagsubok.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞! 𝘗𝘙𝘊 𝘋𝘌𝘗𝘓𝘖𝘠𝘔𝘌𝘕𝘛 𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘊𝘜𝘌𝘚 𝘚𝘛𝘙𝘈𝘕𝘋𝘌𝘋 𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘐𝘋𝘌𝘕𝘛𝘚 𝘪𝘯 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘒𝘢𝘸𝘪𝘵 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺𝘴 in 𝘊𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘦.

Response teams from the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Cavite Chapter, along with the Dasmariñas Branch and Silang Branch, are actively deployed in Barangay Gahak and Barangay Marulas in Kawit, Cavite, carrying out critical rescue operations for residents stranded by monsoon-induced floodwaters.

Operating across Barangay Gahak and Barangay Marulas, PRC water rescue personnel are navigating flooded streets to safely transport stranded individuals to higher ground while providing Gardenia bread and essential relief items to affected families.

​As heavy rainfall induced by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) causes flooding and localized landslides across several provinces, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) remains on high alert and on the ground, delivering immediate rescue and welfare support as of 5:30 PM today, August 8, 2026.

​"Our Red Cross chapters and emergency rescue units are actively responding on the ground—rescuing stranded residents and even pets, while delivering emergency food supplies to communities affected by rising floodwaters," said PRC Chairman and CEO Richard J. Gordon.
​
"We continue to closely monitor water levels and landslide risks across Oriental Mindoro, Zambales, Romblon, and Cavite. Our RC143 volunteers and personnel are working round-the-clock to safeguard lives," added PRC Secretary General Dr. Gwendolyn Pang.

​Active Operational Updates (as of 5:30 PM, August 8, 2026):
• ​Cavite (Rescue & Relief Operations): Response teams from PRC Cavite Chapter, Dasmariñas Branch, and Silang Branch are currently deployed in Brgy. Gahak, Kawit, Cavite, assisting in ongoing rescue operations—including household pets—and distributing fresh Gardenia bread to affected residents.

• ​Romblon (Landslide Incident): A landslide occurred at Brgy. Limon Norte, Looc, Romblon, where heavy rains caused loose soil to give way under a store extension. No casualties or injuries were reported as the structure was unoccupied.

• ​Oriental Mindoro (Flooding Reports): Flooding ranging from 1 ft to knee-deep has been reported across multiple barangays in Baco (Sitios Tiboy, Paranga, Boulevard, Matining, and Nagpilian), Victoria (Brgy. Mabini), and Calapan City (Brgy. Lalud Riverside), as verified by RC143 volunteers on the ground.

• ​Zambales (Flooding Reports): Low-lying areas and roads across Sta. Cruz (Brgys. Bayto, East Poblacion, Sto. Tomas, San Juan, and Liozon) and Iba (Brgys. Palanginan, LDP, Zone 2, Zone 6, and Dirita) are experiencing floodwaters ranging from below knee-deep to knee-deep levels.
