PFMASI holds annual general assembly, upholds transparency and commitment
The Philippine Fleet Mutual Assistance System, Inc. (PFMASI), the Fleet’s non-profitable organization founded for charitable purposes, conducted its Annual General Assembly at the Naval Operating Base-Subic in Zambales on February 26, creating a platform for transparency and commitment among its board of trustees, members, and stakeholders.
Fleet Commander and PFMASI adviser, Rear Adm. Joe Anthony Orbe, graced the activity highlighted by the presentation of the organization's financial standing, key accomplishments, and strategic plans aimed at enhancing support for its members. Through this report, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to accountability and transparency, ensuring that members and stakeholders clearly understood its operations and financial health.
PFMASI General Manager, Capt. Romeo Mosuela, apprised the attendees on the organization’s financial report for the year 2024, showcasing a positive financial trajectory that reflects its stability and sustained growth.
Meanwhile, Board of Trustee Chairman, Capt. Lued Lincuna, highlighted the noteworthy accomplishments and milestones reached over the year including the successful implementation of financial assistance programs, membership growth, and various initiatives designed to enhance member benefits while fostering transparency and accountability. Outlining the PFMASI’s future strategic direction, Capt. Lincuna reaffirmed the organization's commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that it remains a reliable and responsive support system for its members.
In his remarks, Rear Adm. Orbe commended PFMASI for its unwavering dedication to supporting the welfare of its members and ensuring financial stability within the organization. He acknowledged the significant progress made over the years, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration and innovation to further enhance the services offered to the Philippine Fleet community.
PFMASI promotes the general welfare, esprit de corps and camaraderie among its members. One of its notable programs is the grant of financial assistance to the bereaved family in case of death of any member and their direct dependent.
