The Election Committee of the Adventist University of the Philippines College of Medicine officially presents the results of the Medical Student Council 2026โ€“2027 Elections.

Based on the official tally of votes, the following are the results for each position:

The Election Committee of the Adventist University of the Philippines College of Medicine officially presents the voter turnout for the Medical Student Council 2026โ€“2027 Elections.

A total of 159 out of 180 COM students cast their votes, with an overall voter turnout of 88.33%

The Election Committee extends its gratitude to all students who participated in this yearโ€™s elections. Your involvement reflects your commitment to responsible and meaningful student leadership.

THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER. VOTING IS NOW CLOSED.

The Election Committee of the Adventist University of the Philippines College of Medicine informs the student body that voting for the Medical Student Council 2026โ€“2027 Elections is now closed.

The official Election Results will be released on April 15, 2026, at 12:00 noon.

The official voter turnout will also be announced, reflecting the participation and involvement of the AUP College of Medicine student body in this yearโ€™s elections.

VOTING GUIDELINES AND IMPORTANT REMINDERS

The Election Committee of the Adventist University of the Philippines College of Medicine presents the official guidelines and reminders for the Medical Student Council 2026โ€“2027 Elections.

The election form for Clerks will open on April 12 at 12:00 noon, while the election forms for Year Levels I, II, and III will open on April 13 at 12:00 noon.

Voter Eligibility
Only officially enrolled students of the AUP College of Medicine are eligible to vote. Election Committee members are not allowed to vote.

Voting Process
Online voting will be open for 24 hours. Election results will be announced 24 hours after voting closes.

Voting will be conducted online through Google Forms, and the voting form will be sent to the email addresses provided last semester. If you do not receive the form, please contact your ELECOM Year Level Representative for assistance.

Voters may choose to abstain from any position, and partial votes will still be counted.

To be declared elected, a candidate must obtain the highest number of votes. If abstain receives the majority vote for a position, the vacancy will be filled through appointment by the incoming officers, subject to the approval of the Dean and the student community.

Please also be guided that election results will be officially announced by ELECOM to the student assembly first before any posting on social media.

Let us all take part in this election with fairness, responsibility, and integrity. Stay informed, participate wisely, and exercise your vote with purpose.

[ELECOM ADVISORY]

The AUP-COM Elections Committee (ELECOM) hereby releases Resolution No. 001, s. 2026 regarding the Appeal for Candidate Substitution. Under review and consideration, the Committee shall allow Substitution of Disqualified Candidates.

This Resolution reiterates that any movement, request, appeal, or action related to the elections that does not undergo proper screening, coordination, and approval by the ELECOM shall not be considered valid. The Committee will not tolerate unauthorized movements, and such actions shall be dealt with accordingly, including the possible imposition of appropriate sanctions moving forward.

The ELECOM likewise affirms the importance of observing proper channels of communication, due process, and coordination in all election-related matters. This is in line with the Committeeโ€™s mandate to preserve an orderly, fair, impartial, and respectful electoral process for all candidates, partylists, and members of the student body.

All concerns, appeals, requests, and other matters pertaining to the ongoing elections must therefore be properly coursed through the Elections Committee.

Thank you for your cooperation in upholding the integrity, order, and respect expected throughout the election period.
