Youth for Environment in Schools Organization of Cavite Science Integrated School has the following objectives:
1. Be aware and create awareness in others of the state of the Philippines environment and ecology, including prevailing issues and concerns relative thereto;
2. Establish specific and feasible programs, projects, and activities to address issues and concerns on the environment and ecol

ogy;
3. Network with other government and non-government organizations, including Youth for Environment in Schools Organization in other schools within the division and region, with regard to support and assistance to programs, projects, and activities of the organization;
4. Encourage community participation and initiative in environmental and ecological movements and actions; and
5. Develop among members and the community proper environmental values, skills, and attitudes.

The Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected YES-O (Youth for Environment in Schools Organization) officers for the School Year 2026โ€“2027 was successfully held on July 22, 2026, at the Principal's Office.

During the ceremony, the newly elected officers took their oath of office, promising to carry out their responsibilities with honesty, dedication, and teamwork. The oath-taking marked the official start of their leadership in promoting environmental awareness and caring for our school.

๐ŸŒฑ From Weeds to Wonder ๐Ÿ’š

Last July 3, dedicated Grade 12 volunteers rolled up their sleeves and took part in a campus planting activity, transforming an overgrown area into a space ready to flourish with new life.

The activity began with the removal of wild weeds and the thorough cleaning of the planting site. By preparing the ground and creating enough space for the new plants to grow, the volunteers laid the foundation for a greener, healthier, and more beautiful campus.

What was once an untended patch of land is now on its way to becoming a vibrant green space that will enhance the school environment and serve as a lasting reminder of the positive impact that collective action can achieve. This simple yet meaningful effort reflects our shared commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable campus development.

A heartfelt thank you to all our Grade 12 volunteers for your time, hard work, and dedication. Your willingness to serve shows that meaningful change begins with small acts of care. The "Bantay Bote" program is continuously being implemented in Cavite Science Integrated School's canteen as part of our project to promote proper waste management and responsible recycling practices.

This project encourages every student to take part in keeping our school clean by properly disposing of plastic bottles and placing them in the designated waste bin. Through small actions like proper waste segregation or simply placing your plastic bottles in the assigned bin, we can help reduce plastic waste and contribute to a cleaner school environment.

As part of our commitment to promoting sustainable living and food security, YES-O successfully distributed vegetable seeds provided by the Agricultural Office to students and their families, bringing gardening closer to every home ๐Ÿก๐Ÿก.
