Calling all artists, writers, cultural workers, and creatives!
As food producers, farmers and fisherfolk form the backbone of our nation—providing for the daily needs of every Filipino, including those of us in the cultural and creative sectors. Yet they continue to face landlessness, poverty, and exploitation.
The advocacy of former Makabayan senatorial candidates Danilo "Ka Daning" Ramos, rooted in decades of peasant struggle, and Ronnel "Isdabest" Arambulo’s fight for the rights of fisherfolk, remind us that while the election may be over, the struggle for land and food security is far from finished.
We call on artists to take part in this movement for change. Join us in standing with our farmers and fisherfolk. Let’s use our art, our voice, and our platforms to demand justice for the people who feed the nation.
as we continue the call for genuine agrarian reform and food security! See you at our mass orientation this Saturday, May 24 4PM, at Kusina sa Balangay in Diliman, QC.
