A year ago, we were the ones graduating NSTP and taking our oath to serve. Wanting to turn that oath into action, we took a leap of faith and established the NSRC - ISUCC Unit.

It hasn’t even been a full year since our unit was founded, but standing on stage yesterday at the NSTP Graduation Ceremony 2026 to be officially recognized by ISU Cauayan was a surreal milestone. We’ve come so far in such a short time!

This wouldn't be possible without our highly supportive adviser, none other than the University Director for NSTP himself, Dr. Aquim Verzon. Thank you, Sir, for your unwavering guidance and for always believing in us!

Are you ready to lead, serve, and make a lasting impact? The National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) is officially opening its doors for dedicated student leaders and passionate volunteers.

We are looking for individuals who embody the spirit of volunteerism—those who understand that true leadership starts with a heart for service. If you are ready to go beyond the classroom and serve the community, we want you!

We are seeking competent and driven individuals for the following roles:

Executive Board:

1. Undersecretary
2. Auditor

Committees:

1. Documentation: Capturing and recording our journey of service.

2. Education: Empowering others through knowledge and literacy.

3. Health: Promoting wellness and providing medical assistance.

4. Civic Welfare: Building and uplifting our local communities.

5. Safety & Security: Ensuring order and disaster preparedness.

5. Foods & Supplies: Managing logistics and essential resources.

To be eligible for a position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Bonafide Student: Must be currently enrolled at Isabela State University - Cauayan City Campus.

2. NSTP Graduate: Must have successfully completed the National Service Training Program (CWTS, LTS, or ROTC).

3. Commitment: A strong desire to practice volunteerism and civic duty.

As 2025 draws to a close, we find ourselves looking back with full hearts. It’s only been four months since the National Service Reserve Corps - ISUCC Unit was officially recognized, but those months have been defined by a shared passion for volunteerism and the courage to take the first step.

Starting from scratch wasn't easy, but we were never alone.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the pillars who supported us during our foundation:

To our Partners and Sponsors, especially 98.5 iFM Cauayan—thank you for being the wind beneath our wings. Your trust and generosity turned our "what ifs" into meaningful initiatives. Whether through resources or collaboration, you proved that the spirit of bayanihan is alive and well. We are honored to walk this path of service alongside you.

To our supportive Adviser, Sir Aquim Verzon: Thank you for your unwavering guidance. Your mentorship gave us the confidence to lead and the wisdom to serve with integrity. We wouldn't be where we are without your belief in us.

To our volunteers: you are the lifeblood of this Corps. Every hour you gave and every effort you made has laid the groundwork for a legacy of service at ISUCC.

We are ending 2025 not just as an organization, but as a family bound by a common goal.

𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐄| The National Service Reserve Corps proudly completed the Disaster Youth Jamboree at Hacienda de San Luis last December 13-14.

By focusing on the pillars of Empowerment, Unity, and Action, we have strengthened our capability to handle the challenges of tomorrow. The NSRC remains dedicated to the mission of disaster resilience, ensuring that our youth are not just survivors, but proactive leaders in community safety.
