Student leaders of Cauayan City National High School–Marabulig Extension (CCNHS–MEx) attented the Leadership Summit 2026 on February 13, 2026, at the school gymnasium, with the theme “Empowering Future Leaders through Collaboration and Service”.
The event was facilitated by the Student Body Organization (SBO) and Recognized Student Organization (RSO) officers from the College of Education (CEd).
The program began with an energizer led by I-HOPES, setting an active mood for the day. This was followed by the singing of the national anthem by Anjela Sevilla, SBO Secretary, and an invocation led by Aljean Mae Busto, SBO Treasurer.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Roger Tadaya, Officer-in-Charge of CCNHS–MEx, emphasized the importance of responsibility and service, reminding student leaders to stay committed to their roles.
After the opening message, the first discussion was delivered by Mr. Lutgardo Saguid Jr., who talked about Organizational Papers (Letters), explaining the value of proper documentation and clear communication in managing student organizations. Following his talk, Ms. Ronadel C. Anob, Yes-O President, served as the reactor and shared her key insights from the discussion.
The second session was then led by Mr. Eugene A. Matusalem, who gave an interactive talk on leadership, who highlighted important leadership qualities and encouraged students to lead by example. He reminded them, “Do not fully pass your responsibility and obligation to someone. If things get hard, ask for help instead of depending fully on them.”
The morning session concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Ryan S. Bautista, Adviser of SBO-CEd, who expressed his gratitude to the participants and organizers for their active involvement.
As the program continued in the afternoon, the focus shifted to team-building activities prepared by the RSOs. The activities included eight stations with different games that tested the participants’ skills, patience, thinking, and strategy.
The event ended with the awarding of winners and the giving of simple tokens of appreciation, marking a meaningful and successful conclusion to the Leadership Summit 2026.
