Back to early alarms, busy days, and sleepless nights, but with Red Cross Youth vibes, it’s also about service, leadership, compassion, and teamwork. 𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙀𝘿| The Red Cross Youth Council, together with BKD (Barkada Kontra sa Droga), held an orientation focused on HIV & AIDS awareness and drug prevention. It was a meaningful session where students learned not just facts, but real-life lessons about protecting their health, making informed choices, and looking out for one another.

We talked about how HIV is transmitted, how it can be prevented, and why understanding it is important in breaking stigma. We also discussed the dangers of drug use and how staying informed can help the youth avoid risky situations.

This collaboration reminded us that awareness is powerful, and that change always starts with the youth. By staying educated and involved, we create a safer and stronger school community for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined and participated. Let’s continue choosing knowledge, courage, and care in everything we do. ❤️

The Red Cross Youth (RCY), in collaboration with Barkada Kontra sa Droga (BKD), warmly invites all classroom officers to participate in a meaningful and empowering Students’ Orientation on HIV and AIDS. This activity is designed to equip student leaders with accurate information, promote awareness, and encourage positive attitudes toward health, safety, and peer support.

Together, we aim to build a caring and informed school community where everyone feels safe, respected, and empowered to make healthy life choices. Your role as classroom officers is vital in spreading awareness and leading your classmates toward a more responsible and compassionate environment.

With deepest sadness, the Philippine Red Cross announces the passing of Governor Rosa Rosal.

For over 7 decades, Gov. Rosal devoted her life to the service of the Red Cross. She championed voluntary blood donation across the country, strengthened PRC’s welfare services, and used every platform she had to promote compassion, volunteerism, and the protection of the most vulnerable.

Gov. Rosal leaves behind a legacy of genuine service, dignity, and love for humanity, a legacy that will continue to guide the Philippine Red Cross and inspire generations of volunteers.

Details of the wake will be shared once arrangements have been finalized.
