As part of our commitment to support quality education, we turned over essential materials to aid in the school’s preparation and ensure a safe, conducive learning environment for every learner. 🫶🏻

OPLAN KAAGAPAY: A Call for Support

JCI Catbalogan Balud is calling on all JCI Chapters, NGOs, civic organizations, partners, and compassionate individuals across the Philippines and around the world to stand with the families affected by the recent fire incident in Barangay Poblacion 3, Pier 2 Seawall, Catbalogan City, Philippines, behind the City Police Station.

The fire left many homes damaged and displaced families in urgent need of assistance. Through Oplan Kaagapay, we are mobilizing support to help provide essential needs such as food, drinking water, clothing, hygiene kits, blankets, medicine, and other relief items.

In moments of loss, service becomes hope.
In times of crisis, collective action becomes strength.

In the spirit of service and community solidarity, JCI Catbalogan Balud has activated Oplan Kaagapay to provide immediate assistance to families affected by the recent fire incident in Pier 2, Seawall, Brgy 3 (behind the City Police Station).

Many families have lost their homes and belongings, and they now face the difficult task of rebuilding their lives. In this time of need, we humbly appeal to your generosity and compassion.

An Damgo para han Kabubuwason: The Bags of Hope Project | Launching of Project Balud Care: A Legacy Program — Turning Dreams into Action ✨

Last May 26, 2026, at Cagusipan Elementary School, Brgy. Cagusipan, Catbalogan City, we celebrated two meaningful milestones: the successful implementation of “An Damgo para han Kabubuwason: The Bags of Hope Project” and the official launching of “Project Balud Care: A Legacy Program.”

Project Balud Care brought together parents, children, and barangay officials in activities focused on Proper Handwashing, distribution of Oral Care Kits, and Disaster Preparedness Orientation under the Oplan Kaagapay Program — empowering the community with practical knowledge and care.

Meanwhile, Bags of Hope carried special meaning through “Dear Future Me” activity and “Pay It Forward” promise inspiring hope, gratitude, and kindness among the beneficiaries.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors and donors. We also honor the strong partnership that made this event happen: JCI Maqueda Bay, the BLGU of Brgy. Cagusipan, the Society of the College of Education, and all individual supporters who shared their blessings.
