Another productive council meeting was attended by PCCI Catbalogan President Ariel D. Donceras during the meeting of the Provincial Technical Educations and Skills Development Committee (PTESDC) held at the TESDA Provincial Office.

The council is chaired by the Hon. Governor Sharee Ann Tan and co-chaired by PD Rolando Bade. The meeting focused on strengthening skills development, workforce readiness, and technological advancement initiatives in the province through collaborative efforts among government agencies, the private sector, and other stakeholders.

PCCI Catbalogan remains committed to supporting programs that enhance workforce competencies and contribute to the economic growth and development of Samar.

📣 First SPSTIC (Samar Provincial Science, Technology and Innovation Council) Meeting Successfully Held

We are pleased to share the successful conduct of the first Samar Provincial Science and Technology Council (SPSTC) meeting, an important multi-sectoral initiative initiated by the Provincial Government of Samar together with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Department of Science and Technology (Philippines).

This collaborative gathering brought together key stakeholders from government, academia, and the private sector to strengthen science, technology, and innovation programs that support inclusive and sustainable development across the province.

Representing the business sector, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. – Catbalogan Chapter actively participated as one of the council members, contributing insights to enhance industry–government collaboration and local economic growth.
