Help us bring hope to families affected by the recent fire in Seawall, Poblacion 3, Catbalogan City.

Masulog Empowerment Initiatives and its partners Rotaract Club of Catbalogan, 𝐅𝐔𝐓𝐃, and 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 are accepting donations to support relief efforts.

𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲

The 2026 Run for Period Empowerment was successfully held yesterday, May 29, 2026, at Seaside, Catbalogan City, bringing together runners, advocates, and partners in a shared commitment to menstrual health awareness and the fight against period poverty.

Led by Masulog Empowerment Initiatives and supported by various organizations, including the Rotaract Club of Catbalogan, the activity gathered participants from Catbalogan and neighboring communities in a meaningful display of solidarity for a cause that affects countless women and girls.

Funded by the City Government of Catbalogan, the event served as a platform to promote education, break stigma, and advocate for menstrual dignity for all.

Together, let us continue the conversation, champion menstrual health, and create communities where no one is left behind because of their period.

In celebration of Menstrual Health Awareness Month, the Rotaract Club of Catbalogan, in partnership with Masulog Empowerment Initiatives, PLAN International, and UNICEF Philippines, successfully conducted the “Breaking the Silence: Menstrual Health Awareness” Symposium last Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the City Health Department Conference Room.

The activity served as a platform to promote awareness, break stigma, and encourage open conversations on menstrual health, empowering young individuals through education, inclusivity, and informed discussions.

Join us this May 23, 2026, for a meaningful symposium on Menstrual Health Awareness as we dive deeper into the purpose behind the Run for Period Empowerment 2026. Together, we will discuss menstrual health, adolescent reproductive health and rights, understanding one’s cycle, and the importance of empowering communities through education and awareness.

This initiative is made possible through the partnership of Rotaract Club of Catbalogan, UNICEF, Plan International, and Run for Period Empowerment 2026.

Let us learn, listen, and advocate together for a future where menstruation is never a source of shame, but a topic met with understanding, support, and empowerment.
