𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄 - 𝐏𝐏𝐆 𝐔𝐄𝐏 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 K𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 O𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬

On September 18, 2026 (Friday), the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering - Pre-Professional Group, UEP Chapter, and student volunteers worked together on restoration and improvement of CE ROOMS 101 and 301 to provide clean and organized spaces for students and faculty.

This activity includes cutting, tracing, and painting letters on styrofoam board, while others worked on cleaning the rooms, such as wiping the whiteboard, sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning the wall, arranging the curtains, and lastly, attaching the designed letters on the back wall of CE Room 101.

Due to time constraint, attaching the designed letters and improving the bulletin board remains unfinished and certainly will be continued on the other day.

We appreciate the student volunteers' effort and time to help us in this initiative. You truly showed the true value of being a Bayaw!

𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝟔𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲

The Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) Department of the College of Engineering, University of Eastern Philippines, commemorates its 67th Founding Anniversary on September 14, 2026 (Monday) at the Farmers' Training Center. The PSABE-PPG UEP Chapter Officers made this prestigious event possible with the guidance and support of their Adviser and Department Chairman.

The program started at 9:00 AM with an opening doxology, followed by the welcome remarks of PSABE-PPG UEP Chapter President, Dante Laure Jr. The Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Rem N. Laodeño, expressed his message of support to the ABE Family and showcased the ABE achievements and milestones throughout the year. Additionally, CoESC President Ms. Ashley Bernabe shared her message by emphasizing the importance of unity as one engineering family.

Fellow alumni and guest speakers, Engr. John Lester Turcolas, MSAE and Engr. Joseph Conrad Li, expressed their inspirational messages by sharing their journey on how they became successful Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers. Their passion and dedication will truly live in the heart of the whole ABE family. The program continued with the awarding of certificates of appreciation to the guest speakers. The program formally concluded with the closing remarks delivered by the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department Chairman, Engr. Rommel P. Noble.

On the other hand, to fully enjoy the celebration, fun academic and non-academic games were held in the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, such as quiz bee, equation run, 4 Pics 1 Word, pyramid cup and paper dance.

Nevertheless, the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Cherry I. Ultra, University President and to Dr. Rem N. Laodeño, Dean of the College of Engineering, for their support in making the celebration possible. We are also grateful to our alumni who donated to help cover the cost of the said activity in the name of Engr. Mary Rose Eulin, Engr. Shakera Trisha Jubasan, and Engr. Joshua Dela Cerna.

The 67th Founding Anniversary is a testament to how resilient, diligent, and excellent the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering is. As we celebrate this milestone, may we carry the spirit, values and legacy of our department as a source of inspiration and strength for future generations.

The Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers – Pre-Professional Group University of Eastern Philippines Chapter successfully held its Send-Off Party 2026 on June 21, 2026 at White Beach, UEP, Catarman, Northern Samar, in recognition of the graduating BSABE students of Batch 2026.

The event brought together students, faculty members, and graduates in a celebration filled with gratitude, recognition, and fellowship. Through heartfelt messages, the awarding of certificates, and shared moments of camaraderie, the organization honored the achievements, dedication, and contributions of the graduating batch throughout their academic journey.

Beyond celebrating their accomplishments, the gathering served as a reminder of the strong bond within the BSABE community, inspiring both the graduates and the younger members to continue pursuing excellence, leadership, and service.

As the graduates prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives, the PSABE-PPG UEP Chapter extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes for their future endeavors, carrying with them the values and legacy of the organization wherever their profession may lead.

A new academic year ushers in a new era of leadership for the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers – Pre-Professional Group University of Eastern Philippines Chapter.

Following the conclusion of the official election for officers held on June 18, 2026, the PSABE–PPG UEP Chapter proudly and officially proclaims the newly elected set of officers who will serve the organization and its members throughout Academic Year 2026–2027. Chosen through the democratic process of election, these individuals now carry with them the trust, confidence, and collective voice of the entire membership.

Big congratulations to the graduating Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering students of Batch 2026!

Getting to this point was definitely not an easy ride. It took years of late-night drafting, heavy major exams, and endless field requirements to finally get here. But through all the stress and difficult projects, this batch showed what it truly means to stick it out and deliver.

Of course, this win isn't just for the graduates. It belongs to the parents, families, professors, and friends who kept everyone sane and supported through the ups and downs of college life. As you go out there into the professional field, we hope you stay grounded and use what you learned to make a real difference in our agricultural sector and communities.

Congratulation Bayaws and cheers to your success. The entire UEP community is proud of you and we can't wait to see where your engineering journey takes you next.

The celebration continues! The University of Eastern Philippines - College of Engineering, through the PSABE-PPG UEP Chapter, proudly announces its newest Registered Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers who successfully passed the December 2025 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Examination (ABELE).

A total of 18 out of 31 examinees from the college passed, achieving an institutional passing rate of 58.06%. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication have paved the way for the start of their professional careers in agricultural and biosystems engineering.

On November 23, 2025, the faculty members of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department, together with PSABE PPG UEP Chapter officers and BSABE students, conducted a Visita Iglesia to churches along the 2nd District of Northern Samar. The activity aimed to offer prayers and spiritual guidance for ABELE 2025, supporting the examinees and reinforcing values of focus, discipline, and perseverance. It provided time for reflection, allowing the group to seek divine guidance while preparing to accompany the examinees in spirit during the licensure examination.

The activity continued on December 4, 2025, the first day of the examination, through church visits in the 1st District of Northern Samar. The group visited key churches to strengthen their prayers for the examinees, offering moral and spiritual support at a crucial moment in their journey. The activity highlighted the importance of holistic preparation, where spiritual readiness supports academic preparation.

On behalf of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department and PSABE PPG UEP Chapter, we extend our best wishes to all ABELE 2025 examinees. We trust that guidance, prayers, and support from mentors will accompany them toward success in this significant milestone.
