Learning. Connecting. Collaborating. Taking Action.
UEP BALANGAW proudly participated in the first-ever Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) Convention 2026, joining 46 youth organizations and youth leaders from across Northern Samar for a two-day gathering centered on learning, collaboration, leadership, and youth empowerment.
Representing UEP BALANGAW were Kyle Kristian Magdaraog and Leawen Jarito, who stood alongside fellow youth leaders in strengthening networks and exchanging ideas toward more responsive and impactful youth initiatives in the province.
The two-day convention provided a meaningful space for youth organizations to learn and grow through discussions on YORP Registration and Benefits, Organizational Management and Sustainability, Project Development and Proposal Writing, and Registration and Compliance. Beyond the learning sessions, participants also engaged in GTKY activities, interactive games, and Solidarity Night, creating opportunities to build and strengthen partnerships, and foster a deeper sense of community among youth organizations.
The convention also moved from learning to action, as participating organizations presented and pitched their respective Youth Initiative Projectsโshowcasing ideas designed to address community needs, encourage meaningful youth participation, and create opportunities for young people to become active contributors to development.
As we move forward, UEP BALANGAW remains committed to strengthening youth initiatives, building meaningful partnerships, and continuously creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all.
Together with fellow youth organizations across Northern Samar, we continue to learn with purpose, connect with one another, and turn ideas into action.
