Day 2: Strengthening Leadership Through Service ⚜️💙💛

On June 21, 2026, the Collegiate Residents of the Eta Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega – University of Eastern Philippines continued their meaningful participation in the Alpha Phi Omega Eastern Visayas Administrative Region (EVAR) Collegiate Summit 2026 at Price Mansion, Tacloban City.

The second day opened with inspiring remarks from Sis. Mitch Anima, setting the tone for another day of learning, fellowship, and commitment to the ideals of Alpha Phi Omega.

The delegates then took part in a Leadership Training facilitated by Bro. John Aldrin Galang, where they gained valuable insights on becoming effective, responsible, and purpose-driven leaders. The session emphasized that leadership is not merely about holding a position, but about serving others with humility, integrity, and dedication.

This was followed by an Open Forum, allowing participants to share their thoughts, raise concerns, and learn from one another’s experiences as collegiate members of the organization.

Another meaningful presentation was the discussion on UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-Based Activities by Sis. Kyle Lindvey Zabala Delmo. The session highlighted the important role of APO members in creating initiatives that respond to community needs and contribute to sustainable development through meaningful service.

The summit concluded with the closing remarks of the Regional Director Coordinator, awarding of certificates, photo opportunity, and the Toast Song—celebrating the successful completion of the two-day summit and the strengthened bond among APO collegiate residents across Eastern Visayas.

The journey of the Eta Iota Chapter from Northern Samar to Tacloban City was more than a trip—it was a valuable experience that strengthened their commitment to become true servant leaders, loyal friends, and active volunteers in service to the community.

Miles traveled, purpose fulfilled! ⚜️💙💛 GPAC DAY 1!!

On June 20, 2026, the Collegiate Residents of the Eta Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega – University of Eastern Philippines journeyed from Northern Samar to Tacloban City to participate in the Alpha Phi Omega Eastern Visayas Administrative Region (EVAR) Collegiate Summit 2026.
Held at Price Mansion, Real Street, Tacloban City, the summit became a meaningful avenue for our brothers and sisters to deepen their understanding of what it truly means to live by the ideals of Leadership, Friendship, and Service.

The day began with an important presentation on Republic Act No. 11053, or the Anti-Hazing Act, led by Bro. Atty. Federico Tizon. The discussion reminded every APO member of the responsibility to uphold dignity, safety, brotherhood, and respect within the organization.

This was followed by the Internet Code of Conduct presentation by Sis. Mitch Anima, emphasizing responsible, ethical, and respectful behavior in the digital space.

The delegates also participated in the EAPP Seminar, facilitated by Bro. Kim Lucas, where they gained further insights that strengthened their commitment to becoming servant leaders and responsible members of the fraternity and sorority.

The program also included team assembly and team-building activities, which strengthened unity, cooperation, and friendship among collegiate chapters across Eastern Visayas. The day concluded with the installation of the Rho Lambda Chapter and a meaningful night of fellowship.

More than attending a summit, this journey was a reminder that a true APO member is called to be a servant leader, a dependable friend, and a committed volunteer in meaningful service to others.

The brothers and sisters of Alpha Phi Omega proudly participated in the 2-day Brigada Eskwela service, lending our time, effort, and dedication to help prepare the school for the upcoming academic year.

From cleaning classrooms and school grounds to assisting in various preparations, we were honored to be part of a community effort that creates a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for learners.

ALPHA PHI OMEGA Joins ARCOSAF Coastal Clean-Up Drive

On June 6, 2026, Alpha Phi Omega (APO) proudly participated in the Coastal Clean-Up Activity organized by the Association of Recognized Campus Organizations, Sororities, and Fraternities (ARCOSAF).

The activity brought together various student organizations, sororities, and fraternities united by a common goal of promoting environmental awareness and preserving the cleanliness of our coastal communities.

Through collective effort and volunteerism, participants helped remove waste and debris along the shoreline, contributing to a cleaner and healthier marine environment. The event highlighted the importance of community engagement, environmental stewardship, and the spirit of service that both APO and ARCOSAF uphold.

On May 15, 2026, APO Brods and Sis proudly participated in the 41st Kauswagan Caravan held in the Municipality of Lope de Vega. As part of our commitment to community service, APO donated old and preloved clothes to help families and individuals in need.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, donated, and extended their support to make this initiative possible. Your generosity and dedication have made a meaningful impact on the lives of many.

LOOK BACK || Service beyond self shines brightest in times of faith and sacrifice. ✨🙏

The Alpha Phi Omega – Eta Iota Collegiate and Alumni members united last Good Friday in a meaningful act of service by giving free candles and water to the community. A simple gesture of compassion, fellowship, and brotherhood in the spirit of Holy Week.
