District Deputy Grand Master VW Vincent Paul Rosales traveled to Catbalogan, Samar for his official lodge visit to Mt. Huraw Masonic Lodge No. 98 during its Stated Meeting on June 5, 2026.

Key points of activity included the GLI installation of Worshipful Inspector Bro. Manuel Martinez, and the delivery of a Masonic education lecture by VW Art Gabon, focusing on the importance of continuous learning and development within the Craft.

In a highlight of the evening, DDGM Rosales personally installed Worshipful Brother Marty Martinez as Worshipful Inspector for Mt. Huraw Lodge, a moment that embodied the essence of leadership, trust, and commitment to Masonic service.

True proficiency in the Craft demands both knowledge and action. A Mason must not only study the work but live it through consistent practice, discipline, and faithful service. By continuously seeking light through study, reflection, and the quiet example of experienced Brethren, and by seizing every opportunity to serve, whether in ritual, leadership, or brotherly assistance, a Mason transforms learning into mastery.

Best practices are not imposed from without but arise naturally from within when a Brother commits to refining his skills, broadening his perspective through fellowship with diverse Brethren, and holding himself to the highest standards of the Lodge. In this way, technical and moral proficiency become one, a living testament to a Mason who does not merely know the Craft, but embodies it in every stone he lays.

Best practices were shared and lodge developments were discussed, reinforcing the commitment of every Brother to continuous growth, unity, and excellence in service.

The evening concluded with fellowship, the breaking of bread, camaraderie, and refreshments, a cherished reminder that Brotherhood is not only built in the lodge room but nourished at the table, in laughter, and in the warmth of shared purpose.

• Mt. Huraw Masonic Lodge No. 98
• Northern Samar Masonic Lodge No. 211
• East Gate Masonic Lodge No. 232
• Nalucaban Masonic Lodge No. 523

Any other group claiming to be a Masonic Lodge within this District is clandestine and is not recognized by Regular Freemasonry under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines.

The public is warned accordingly.

No Boundaries in Becoming Better Masons

District Deputy Grand Master VW Vincent Paul Rosales, traveled approximately 206 kilometers to visit Eastgate Masonic Lodge No. 232 during its stated meeting on May 30, 2026, affirming that service to the Craft knows no distance.

In a significant highlight of the evening, DDGM Rosales personally installed Worshipful Brother Frederick Dy as Grand Lodge Inspector (GLI) of Eastgate Masonic Lodge No. 232, in accordance with Grand Lodge directives, strengthening the link between the Lodge and the Grand Lodge.

He also witnessed the conferral of the Entered Apprentice Mason degree, reflecting the lodge’s commitment to growth and Masonic education.

The occasion was graced by brethren from Northern Samar Masonic Lodge No. 211, Mt. Huraw Masonic Lodge No. 98, and Nalucaban Masonic Lodge No. 523, reflecting unity within the district.

Beyond formal proceedings, the visit became an opportunity to share guidance, best practices, and encouragement for continued lodge development.

The journey stands as a reminder that in Masonry, distance is never a barrier to service, and growth is a continuous pursuit.

🏖️ NSML Family Day 2026 🌴

The Brethren, families, and friends of Northern Samar Lodge No. 211 gathered on May 16, 2026 at Langtaran Beach for the celebration of NSML Family Day 2026 — a meaningful occasion filled with fellowship, laughter, relaxation, and strengthened family ties beyond the walls of the Lodge.

The event became a joyful gathering where Brethren and their loved ones shared good food, memorable conversations, and moments of camaraderie in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the delicious meals prepared and shared by the Brethren to the simple moments of bonding by the seaside, the activity truly reflected the spirit of unity, friendship, and brotherhood that continues to strengthen the Lodge.
