The University Student Council attended an administrative briefing today at 4:00 PM.

We are clarifying to the student body that no formal sector consultation occurred, no policy proposals were approved, and student leaders continue to demand a transparent, democratic consultative process with prior notice.

𝗨𝗘𝗣 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘.

The proposed House Bills 9414 and 9861 seek to transform the University of Eastern Philippines into the National University for Sustainability Studies, a change that could reshape the university’s identity, governance, academic direction, and future.

Progress is important. But meaningful progress must be transparent, inclusive, adequately prepared, and responsive to the people it will affect.

As members of the UEP community, we have the right and responsibility to know, understand, question, and participate.

This is not a call against progress. It is a call for responsible progress, one that puts the interests of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the wider UEP community at the center.

As part of our continuing commitment to strengthening student leadership, we are pleased to present ASCEND 2026: Leadership Development and Team Alignment Training, a two-day gathering that brings student leaders and delegates together in pursuit of stronger leadership, meaningful collaboration, and greater team alignment.

This training provides an avenue for participants to enhance their leadership capabilities, strengthen teamwork, exchange perspectives, and develop a shared vision that will guide them in their roles as student leaders and representatives.

More than a leadership training, ASCEND 2026 is an opportunity to build connections, strengthen collective responsibility, and foster a culture of leadership grounded in collaboration, excellence, and service.

Together with the UEP Main USC, UEP Main College Student Councils, UEP PRMC-USC, UEPL-USC, The Pillar, and ARCOSAF, we look forward to seeing you as we ASCEND together!

A Nursing Type B Uniform with embroidered name at the left side of the Polo shirt. The actual shirt appears to be dark blue/navy has a brand name Lucky Hanna, was lost in the College of Law August 13, 2026, at around 11:00 AM

The item was given by female student to another female student with the characteristics of black shirt, with backpack, fair skinned, and small frame if you know that person kindly contact her to return the item that was lost.
