Sulu holds a special place in our hearts. ♥️

Over the past two years, we’ve returned again and again — listening, learning, building friendships, and finding ways to support communities through a more holistic approach. From feeding programs and teacher training to conversations around school rehabilitation and livelihood opportunities, this journey has reminded us that meaningful change begins with trust, presence, and partnership.

This is only the beginning, and we remain hopeful for what we can continue building together alongside the incredible people, educators, leaders, and families of Sulu.

We also warmly invite fellow corporate foundations, organizations, and partners who may want to join us in supporting and uplifting communities in Sulu. There is so much we can accomplish together through collaboration, shared purpose, and long-term commitment.

On April 27, Jesus V. Del Rosario Foundation, together with Trimotors Technology Corporation and KSERVICO, Inc., turned over a community service vehicle to the Local Government Unit of Echague from Isabela Province, with the aim of strengthening last-mile service delivery and ensuring essential support reaches even the most remote barangays.

The visit also gave space to sit down with the Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities of Echague, including the Yogad and Ibanag Tribes. It was a chance for JVRF to listen and better understand their way of life, their priorities, and where support can be most relevant.

These honest conversations with our Filipino culture bearers mark a step toward doing the work where it matters most: on the ground, in partnership, and guided by the voices of the communities we serve.

sun, sea, and something deeper 🌊 ☀️

siargao has always been known for its beauty—but beyond the waves are communities that need support, full of strength, warmth, and stories that deserve to be seen and uplifted.

this visit, we spent time on the ground listening, learning, and working alongside local partners to bring support where it’s needed most—we’ve officially launched our tricykab kabuhayan program in general luna, with partner beneficiaries already running in del carmen since last year, creating steady livelihood opportunities for families in those communities.

at the same time, our feeding program continues in general luna and socorro at 12 partner elementary schools, supporting children with the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

one of the most meaningful moments was spending time with the paglajag youth leaders in anajawan—a reminder that real, lasting change is driven by the passion and leadership of the community itself.

this is what it looks like when programs come together—livelihood, nutrition, and youth leadership—working hand in hand.

more than anything, it’s a reminder that impact isn’t just about what we bring, but the relationships we build and the trust we earn along the way.
