MANILA, Philippines - Adrian Russel Fortuna of President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) – Castillejos Campus bagged a bronze medal at the 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee of the prestigious Carl Balita Review Center held at the Universidad de Manila here, April 27, 2026.

Competing against more than 150 participants from various higher education institutions across the country, Fortuna showcased the excellence, competence, and academic preparedness of a true Ramonian.

The 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee, organized by the Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC), aims to showcase excellence and passion among future educators nationwide.

The quiz bee not only functions as a platform for future educators to compete on a national level, but also a nurturing ground for Future Educators for their upcoming Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), strengthening participants’ mastery of content, analytical thinking, and test-taking strategies essential for success in the profession.

Representing PRMSU under the guidance of his coach, Mr. Carlito Asuncion, Fortuna once again brought pride and honor to the State University through his remarkable achievement.

His achievement stands as proof that excellence is attained through hard work, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to one’s goals.

Meanwhile, PRMSU President Roy N. Villabos commended Fortuna for his accomplishment, emphasizing that through meticulous preparation, active learning, and a disciplined mindset, every PRMSU student has the potential to bring pride and distinction to the entire University community.

The participation of PRMSU in events such as this reflects the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and producing competent, competitive, and service-oriented individuals.

More than bringing honor to the University, these achievements embody PRMSU’s mission of contributing to the betterment of society as a whole.

For Fortuna, earning the bronze medal is more than a symbol of glory or personal achievement, it stands as a proof of perseverance, dedication, and hard work.

His success serves as an inspiration to everyone who dares to dream big and strive even harder, proving that great effort often leads to even greater rewards.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | A powerful message on leadership, discipline, and legacy from Kitter Kent John Ordillas, Former SSG President and Federation President, reminding future leaders that true leadership is not only about guiding others—but also about learning, integrity, humility, and resilience in the face of challenges.

From understanding responsibilities and mastering the “signages” of leadership, to managing priorities and embracing mistakes, his words echo one clear truth: leadership is a continuous journey of growth and service.

In the end, it is not about pleasing everyone, but about standing firm, building connections instead of competition, and leaving a legacy that shapes future leaders.
