September 10, 2025 – Student representatives from the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (SFOS), ASCOT Casiguran Campus, actively participated in the On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest organized by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region 3, under the leadership of Regional Director Wilfredo M. Cruz, in celebration of the 62nd Fish Conservation Week with the theme "𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖, 𝙎𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙖 𝙄𝙨𝙙𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮𝙖.”

The contest served as a platform for students to showcase their creativity and raise awareness on the importance of sustainable fisheries and marine resource conservation. Their artworks reflected the youth’s commitment to protecting the country’s aquatic resources for future generations.
