The Carrascal Indigenous Peoples Youth Organization (CIPYO), together with Carrascal Indigenous Peoples Scholars Organization (CIPSO), proudly took part in the Opening of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 on August 11, 2026, held at the Carrascal Convention Center, Adventure Park, Carrascal, Surigao del Sur.

With the theme “You(th) Matters: Shaping Future-Ready Youth in an Evolving Digital World,” the celebration reminded us that every young person has a voice, a story, and a role to play in shaping the future.

For us as Indigenous youth, being part of this celebration is more than simply joining an activity. It is about coming together, sharing our talents and ideas, building friendships, strengthening our leadership, and carrying our culture and identity as we move forward in a changing world.

Here’s to a generation that is proud of its roots, ready to embrace change, and brave enough to shape the future.

On July 25, 2026, the Carrascal Indigenous Peoples Scholars Organization (CIPSO) Scholars, in partnership with Carrascal Nickel Corp. (CNC) , came together for a meaningful tree-planting activity to help protect and restore our environment.

More than just planting seedlings, the activity was a shared commitment to caring for nature and giving back to the community. Every tree planted serves as a reminder that small actions, when done together, can create a lasting impact for future generations.

Through teamwork, volunteerism, and a shared sense of responsibility, the CIPSO Scholars and CNC continue to inspire positive change—proving that a greener and more sustainable future begins with each one of us.

The CIPYO Officers of Carrascal proudly participate in the Naliyagan Festival 2026 IP Youth Summit held in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur. This event serves as a platform for Indigenous youth to learn, lead, connect, and preserve our rich cultural heritage while contributing to community development. Together, we strengthen our voice, celebrate our heritage, and inspire future generations.

With grateful hearts, CIPYO Officers of Carrascal extend our sincere appreciation to the organizers of the Naliyagan Festival 2026 IP Youth Summit, the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur, ADSIPYO, and all partner organizations for this meaningful opportunity.
