⛪ A STORY THAT STOPPED US IN OUR TRACKS ⛪
During last Saturday's iGive Club Gathering, our iGive Head, Sis Arpee Navarro, shared something that left the whole room quiet.
A photo of a beautiful, half-built church — grand arches, tall windows, a bell tower reaching up to the sky. Construction had already gone far. And then it just... stopped. Abandoned. Left to the grass and the weather.
Why? Because the mission depended on one donor. And when that donor passed away, so did the giving — and so did the vision. 💔
Sis Arpee reminded us: this is what happens when generosity isn't passed on. A legacy that lives in only one heart, one generation, one giver — dies with that giver.
That's why iGive isn't just about giving today. It's about raising a generation who will give tomorrow. 🙏
She pointed us to Deuteronomy 6:4–9 — God's command to love Him with all our heart, soul, and strength, and to impress these commandments on our children. Talk about them at home. Live them out daily. Let them be woven into everyday life — not just our own, but our children's too.
So our prayer as an iGive Club family isn't just "Lord, help us give." It's "Lord, help us raise children who will give too" — so this legacy of generosity doesn't stop with us. It continues, generation after generation. 💛
Thank you, Sis Arpee, for the reminder that giving is never meant to end with us.
