"Since day one they would ask me; "Anong bang benefit ang nakukuha mo sa SSLG na 'yan?" at ang tanging sagot ko lang ay "ang kaligayahan ng mga bata" Seeing the students happy and smiling makes me content—it makes my stress go away especially after a tiring and stressful day. Sa mga susunod na hahawak ng tungkulin, ibigay ninyo sa kanila ang parehong tiwala na ibinigay ninyo sa amin dahil ang lakas ng pamumuno ay nagmumula sa pagkakaisa ng mga pinaglilingkuran nito. I'm also greatful for having my officers stand by my side. Yes, we're not perfect. We had our ups and downs and conflicts but we made it through—and that's enough. As I slowly step away from a place that shaped who I am, dala ko ang bawat alaala ninyo. At sana, kayo rin, dalhin ninyo ang mga sandaling ito habang patuloy kayong sumusulong. Being part of this organization taught me how a well-mannered young person should act. It taught me to be a proper leader, not a 'boss.' We leaders lead and serve; we don't boss around or act self-important. We lead as one—to teach students how to behave properly. We lead, Students follow, and the School— Grows.

"In my past 4 years in service, I still have this first-time feeling. It’s truly an honor to be part of this kind of organization.

At first, hindi ko talaga nakikita yung sarili ko na maglingkod, but way back in my Grade 7 days, I was the chosen one. Of all the students in Grade 7, ako ang napiling i-assign. At first, hindi ko alam ang gagawin since it was my first time, but those experiences, as time goes by, helped me grow as an individual, a leader, and a student.

Nobody is a perfect leader; sometimes, we make mistakes. But always remember to ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE. Because I believe every bad thing that happens in our life can be obliterated, but those good things you do can be cherished by the people who truly appreciate you.
