“Serve God While You Are Young”
Text: Ecclesiastes 12:1 (KJV)
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…”
Young people, you don't have to wait until you are older, richer, or more experienced to serve God. Your youth is not a limitation, it is an opportunity! The strength, time, and energy you have today can be used for God's glory.
1. START — Start Serving Now
1 Timothy 4:12
“Let no man despise thy youth…”
Don't say, “I'm too young.” God can use a willing heart at any age.
2. STAND — Stand for What Is Right
Daniel 1:8
“But Daniel purposed in his heart…”
Be a young person who stands for God even when others choose the wrong path. Don't follow the crowd—follow Christ!
3. SHINE — Shine for Jesus
Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men…”
Your school, family, friends, and community need to see Jesus through your life. Your testimony can be someone's reason to come closer to God.
4. STAY — Stay Faithful Until the End
1 Corinthians 15:58
“Be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord…”
Serving God is not just for a season. Keep serving when you are excited, and keep serving when you are tired. Be faithful!
Challenge:
Young people, you are not too young to serve God, but you are young enough to give Him your best years. Don't waste your youth chasing things that will not last. Give your strength, talents, time, and dreams to the Lord.
Start serving. Stand for truth. Shine for Jesus. Stay faithful.
“Don't wait for tomorrow to serve God, your greatest opportunity to serve Him is today.”
