ANNOUNCEMENT TO OUR KA-CSF ALUMNI

Greetings to all our Ka-Alumni!

First of all, thank you for your continued support and participation in our activities.

We truly appreciate the time and effort you’ve given, especially in coordinating with your respective batches.

After careful consultation with our officers and batch coordinators, and based on the feedback gathered, we’ve seen that many are currently facing challenges in committing to our 6th Grand Alumni Reunion scheduled on May 19, 2026.

With the continuous increase in oil prices and its effect on the daily cost of living, we understand that this is not the most convenient time for many of us.

As much as we were all looking forward to this reunion, we also want to be mindful of everyone’s situation. Because of this, we have decided to postpone the event for now.

That said, our plans don’t stop here. We remain committed to our shared goal, especially our project—the circumferential pathway at Caramoran School of Fisheries—which will greatly benefit our alma mater.

Good news is, our raffle draw will still continue as planned as part of our fundraising efforts.

The raffle draw will be conducted online on the same date, May 19, 2026, so everyone can still participate safely and conveniently wherever they are.

We encourage everyone to support and take part in this activity in any way you can. The details were agreed upon during our recent meeting with the officers and the CSF faculty, led by Principal Allan Benoyo, and we will be sharing more information soon.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We may be postponing the reunion, but our unity and commitment as Ka-Alumni remain strong. We look forward to better and brighter opportunities to gather again in the near future.

On behalf of the Alumni Officers and Members.

CSF Alumni President

HITOMA, Caramoran, Catanduanes — The Grade 12 graduating students of the Caramoran School of Fisheries (CSF) successfully held their SHS Culminating Activity on March 18, 2026, at the CSF Multipurpose Hall.

The event featured student research presentations and a seminar-workshop facilitated by members of the CSF Alumni Association and representatives from TESDA Cabugao.

The full-day activity was spearheaded by the school administration, led by Principal Allan Benoyo and SHS Coordinator Renalyn T. Silva, in partnership with the Alumni Association.

It was designed to showcase students’ academic outputs while equipping them with practical knowledge in employment, livelihood, financial management, and career preparation.

The program began with registration from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., followed by the singing of the national anthem and an opening prayer via an audio-visual presentation.

In her welcome remarks, Silva encouraged students to actively participate and maximize the learning opportunities provided by the school and the invited resource speakers.

A highlight of the morning session was the research presentation by Elwina Alano of HUMSS and Jonimae Ermido of CSS. Their work demonstrated the students’ academic preparation, research skills, and ability to communicate findings confidently before an audience.

The seminar-workshop then addressed key topics essential for the students’ transition from senior high school to higher education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

Ferdinand M. Brizo, CSF Alumni President, Catanduanes State University (CatSU) faculty and a media practitioner, led sessions on Digital Freelancing, introducing online work opportunities and the skills required to excel in digital platforms, and Technical Interview Mastery, focusing on professional communication, confidence building, and strategies for effective interview responses.

For technical and livelihood-oriented skills, Zaldy B. Bueno presented Technical Skills–SMAW, providing an introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding and highlighting the importance of technical-vocational competencies for employment.

Meanwhile, Eddie Millon, CSF alumnus and CatSU professor, discussed Agri-Business, inspiring students to view agriculture not only as a food source but also as a viable and sustainable business opportunity.

Sir Alvin Ibardaloza of TESDA Cabugao and a former faculty of CSF for 10 years delivered a session on Financial Literacy, emphasizing budgeting, saving, responsible spending, and financial planning to help students establish sound money management habits for college, work, or independent living.

The program also featured intermission performances and a runway presentation by Grade 12–Frugality, adding engagement and variety to the day’s proceedings.

The event concluded with closing remarks delivered by Maricel Araujo, with students expressing appreciation for the meaningful topics that opened their minds to the next stages of their lives.

On behalf of the Principal, Teacher Gerard Tuno extended special accolades to the resource speakers, acknowledging their commitment despite rising fuel costs.

Their shared expertise and guidance served as crucial motivation for the graduating students, helping them navigate the next steps in their academic and professional journeys.

The skills, knowledge, and insights provided will play a key role in their success and future contributions as CSF alumni.

School teachers and officials noted that the culminating activity not only celebrated the achievements of the graduating students but also prepared them for life beyond senior high school.

Through the participation of alumni and partner speakers, students gained practical insights and renewed confidence to pursue their future plans with competence, determination, and optimism.

Good Day Mga Ka- CSF Alumni!

With the recent rise in petroleum prices, some of our members are understandably concerned about expenses this year. Many are wondering if they might need to postpone or skip their vacation plans.

In light of this, we would like to hear from you regarding our 6th Grand Alumni Homecoming scheduled for May 19, 2026.

Your input will help the officers, committees, and the school assess the impact of the current situation, including potential costs for the event.

If the majority suggests postponing or changing the original plan, we will explore other ways to generate funds to support projects in our alma mater, particularly the unfinished circumferential road of CSF.

Please share your opinion—we value your voice and participation!

Good afternoon, everyone.

The CSF Faculty, headed by Principal Alex Habana, has finalized the schedule for the tribute to Ma’am Ed this coming Saturday at 3:00 PM.

In light of this development, Alumni officers and members are respectfully encouraged to join the tribute on Saturday instead of the initially proposed Sunday.

Let us unite as one family in honoring Ma’am Ed’s enduring legacy and the profound impact she has made on our lives, both as a mentor and as a mother figure to many.

You may also prepare your donations in kind or financial support to help ease the burden of her grieving family during this difficult time.

Your presence and generosity will mean so much.

In Loving Memory of Ma'am Edna Million Rubia!

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of a beloved mentor, esteemed teacher, and dedicated CSF alumni adviser, Teacher Ed.
