Happy Earth Day! 🌏💙

To celebrate our commitment to protecting the natural beauty of the Palumbanes Islands, the Palumbanes Integrated School YES-O (Youth for Environment in Schools Organization) is proud to share our 2026 Earth Day roadmap!

Our islands are more than just a home—they are a precious ecosystem that sustains us. This year, we are taking action through:

🌱 Mangrove & Tree Planting: Strengthening our natural coastal defenses.
🌊 Reef & Coastal Clean-Up: Keeping Bitaog Beach and our waters pristine.
🐢 Marine Conservation Advocacy: Educating our community to protect our Marine Sanctuary.
🧺 Sustainable Livelihood Fair: Supporting eco-friendly local products and crafts.
🥾 Eco-Trail & Cultural Appreciation: Celebrating our heritage through responsible trekking.

Every small act counts. Whether it’s picking up a piece of plastic or planting a seedling, let’s show our love for the Palumbanes Group—from Parongpong to Calabagio!

📢 MAHALAGANG ANUNSYO: Ukol sa Alumni Homecoming 2026

Isang mapagpalang araw sa inyong lahat.
Nais naming ipabatid sa buong komunidad ng P*S na, matapos ang masusing pag-aaral at konsultasyon, hindi muna gaganapin ang ating nakasanayang Alumni Homecoming ngayong taon.

Hindi naging madali ang desisyong ito, ngunit dahil sa kasalukuyang krisis na kinakaharap ng ating bansa, pinili ng paaralan at ng alumni association na unahin ang kapakanan, at praktikalidad para sa lahat. Naniniwala kami na sa gitna ng mga hamong ito, mas mainam na ituon muna natin ang ating atensyon at resources sa ating mga pamilya at sa pagbangon ng ating komunidad.

Batid namin ang pananabik ng bawat isa na muling makasama ang mga dating kamag-aral at g**o, ngunit naniniwala kami na ang tunay na diwa ng pagkakaibigan at pagkakaisa ay nananatili kahit tayo ay pansamantalang magkakalayo.

Patuloy tayong mag-ingat at magtulungan. Umaasa kami sa inyong malawak na pag-unawa. Muli tayong magkikita sa mas ligtas at mas masayang panahon!

🏆 PAGKILALA SA KAHUSAYAN

Isang malaking karangalan para sa Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) - Secondary Level ng Palumbanes Integrated School na tanggapin ang Special Citation Award ngayong ika-27 ng Marso, 2026. 📜✨

Ang parangal na ito ay pagkilala sa ating kolektibong pagsisikap, dedikasyon, at mga makabagong programang pang-kalikasan na ating naisakatuparan ngayong School Year 2025-2026. Mula sa tree planting, waste management, hanggang sa pagpapalaganap ng kamalayan sa ating komunidad—ang bawat hakbang ay nagbunga ng tagumpay! 🌿🌊

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa:
🌿 School Administration sa pangunguna ni G. Roldan S. Reazon (School Principal I) sa walang sawang paggabay.
🌿 Sa ating mga Advisers at Teachers na nagsilbing inspirasyon.
🌿 At higit sa lahat, sa lahat ng YES-O Officers at Members na nagbigay ng kanilang oras at pagod para sa ating adbokasiya.

Hindi rito nagtatapos ang ating laban para sa kalikasan. Ang award na ito ay magsisilbing motibasyon upang lalo pa nating pag-ibayuhin ang pagprotekta at pag-aalaga sa ating kapaligiran, lalo na dito sa ating mahal na Palumbanes. 🏝️💚

It’s about appreciation, respect, and the simple acts of kindness we show each other every day.

Love in our school community means unity. It means helping one another grow, choosing encouragement over negativity, and making sure no one feels left out. As we celebrate this day, let’s remember that love is seen not only in words, but in actions.
