It's not that easy and we knew it. But through our collective efforts and on our own ibelief that we can do it, we were able to push through our own initiative of helping our "kababayans" in Sitio Guinahoan who were affected by Typhoon Pepito last month.

Gami-aw Group would like to express our gratitude to all the people who supported us in our " Operation Tabang 2024." From our donors and sponsors who were always ready to extend their helping hands whenever we have gift-giving activities. This was a testament of our collective action to help those in need and their generosity fuelled our desire to bring hope to others .

To our Gami-aw volunteers who radiated the essence of our mantra of service, commitment, and humility, thank you all. The untiring tasks starting from preparing the food packs, hauling them, and distributing them were not that easy. We deeply appreciated the efforts, selfless and unwavering commitment of our volunteers, Jay Berunio, Kate Bañas, Carlo Alarte, and Marjorie Zantua. Same appreciation was extended to Kim Fernando, Mark Zubiaga, Mark Victor Cortezano, Alwin Verdejo and Michelle Karen Advincula. Of course, we wil never forget the support and assistance of our Gami-aw Group El Presidente, Dan Mathew Alerta who was always with us in all our advocacies despite his hectic schedule. Same with Joshua Tagle who always supported us financially and morally to all our activities.

To Ma'am Cris Corral for the financial help to our activity and to Madams Marissa Am Altez and Ma'am Susan L. Amaro who were also behind our back, our message of appreciation. Same goes to all our members for the solid support to our advocacies.

To the beneficiaries of our activity, the people of Sitio Guinahoan, our heartful thanks. Your smile, the expressions of gratitude- these make our hearts filled with happiness. Our activity provided a sense of hope, support and connection.

It was truly a team effort.. Thank you for making this a heart-warming experience.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Gami-aw Group successfully conducted the "Operation Tabang 2024" to the residents of Sitio Guinahoan, Barangay Daraga, Caramoan, Camarines Sur on December 7, 2024 (Saturday).

The activity was initiated by the organization as a way of helping the residents in the said coastal community who were severely affected by the Typhoon Pepito (international name, man-yi) that hit the country on November 18, 2024.

The said relief operation is one of the annual gift-giving activities of Gami-aw Group.

Guinahoan residents welcomed the Gami-aw Group volunteers and expressed their gratitude for holding the activity. Meanwhile, Punong Barangay Woddy Lara of Brgy. Daraga and his Bargay Council Officers were also present in the duration of the activity and they likewise expressed their heartfelt message of appreciation.

A total of 204 households were the recipients of the food packs and used clothings.

We always believe that united and collaborative efforts and actions to promote and encourage environmental awareness is a responsibility of all. The activity like Coastal Clean-Up is an opportunity for us to give our shared responsibility in preserving our environment.
Last September 28, 2024, The Gami-aw voulunteers joined the LGU-Caramoan and other organizations and volunteers for the 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡-𝗨𝗣 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 with its theme,"𝑪𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒂𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑬𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒚." The activity was held at the coastal portions of Brgy. Paniman including the Matukad and Lahus Islands.

We would like to thank the LGU Caramoan headed by Mayor, Hon. Marilyn Socorro H. Co, the MDRR Office personnel headed by Engr. Salvador J. Bonita as well as other LGU personnel for their assistance.
Let all help make our planet a better place to live by protecting our oceans and other natural resources.

Very Late Post...

Volunteerism is a noble act that embodies the true spirit of community and unity. It is the selfless giving of one's time, skills, and resources for the betterment of society without expecting anything in return.

We take pride in helping the community through our volunteer services as stakeholders and volunteers in the Brigada Eskwela 2024.

Brigada Eskwela is a program that brings together parents, teachers, students, and community members to prepare schools for this academic year. It exemplifies the power of volunteerism in transforming education and building stronger communities.

Last July 21, 2024 some of our Gami-aw members took part in volunteering their services at Bonifacio D. Borebor Sr. High School while on July 23, some of our volunteers also provided their services together with some volunteers from other agencies/organizations at Hernandez National High School in Sagurong, Brgy. Pili-Centro, Caramoan, Camarines Sur.

Volunteerism, especially through initiatives like Brigada Eskwela, teaches us invaluable lessons about the power of collaboration, empathy, and perseverance. It reminds us that by coming together as a community, we can overcome any challenge and achieve remarkable feats. It strengthens the bonds between individuals and creates a sense of belonging and pride in our shared achievements.

The Gami-aw Group deeply expresses it's gratitude to the LGU-Caramoan through the MENRO and the MDRRMO for this opportunity to be part of the Coastal Clean-Up Activity held at Brgy. Paniman this morning of September 4, 2024.

We look forward to many more shared experiences and cherished moments in the future as partner for community development and in preserving our environment. This is one of our advocacies in the Gami-aw Group and we are committed to help our communities in whatever ways we can offer through various "community services."
