The documented bird species during the activity are featured in this post. Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make this event possible. It was a great experience enjoying nature, spotting birds, and meeting fellow bird lovers.

Slowly building a community of birdwatchers in Caramoan!

Sharing some of our photos from our birdwatching activity this afternoon at Caramoan Nature Campsite. We have observed some endemic, resident, and migratory birds at the beach.

Our group also met Kuya Renan, our solid kaPartido vlogger, who joined us in the search for birds while having fun-filled and meaningful conversations!

Thank you Project Susog Inc.

A successful 1st Birdwatching Activity of Project Susog Inc., in collaboration with Partido Birdwatchers Club, was held within the vicinity of the Buhi Wildlife Sanctuary.

The activity recorded and documented more than 40 avian species, including migratory birds, resident species, native birds, and Philippine endemics, a testament to the rich biodiversity thriving in Buhi.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Cyan Martin for inviting us, organizing, and pioneering this birdwatching activity in Lake Buhi. We were truly welcomed by the incredible diversity of bird species found in the area.

We hope this will not be the last birdwatching activity in Buhi, and that more people, especially people from the Municipality of Buhi and fellow Bicolanos, will be encouraged to join future activities and become advocates for wildlife conservation and appreciation.
