Cristo Rey West ES Successfully Holds SELG Election for School Year 2026-2027

Cristo Rey West Elementary School successfully conducted its Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Election 2026 on February 11, 2026, marking the third consecutive year of implementing an automated election system.

The voting officially started at 9:00 a.m. and concluded at 11:00 a.m., with a total of 550 learners from Grades 2 to 5 actively participating in the electoral process. The use of an automated system ensured a faster, more accurate, and transparent counting of votes.

The election was spearheaded by Sir Alvin S. Paras, SELG Adviser, in collaboration with Ma’am Jean Marie L. Gomez with the support and guidance of Dr. Lyrma Gabatino, who played an important role in the overall process. Their leadership and careful planning contributed to the smooth and orderly conduct of the activity.

School officials expressed their appreciation to the learners for demonstrating responsibility and enthusiasm in choosing their new student leaders. The successful implementation of the automated election reflects the school’s commitment to promoting integrity, fairness, and innovation in student governance.
