𝐓 No. 2 – Primum Nil Nocere

“First of all, do not harm.”

𝐓 No. 2 establishes a non-negotiable moral standard for every Triskelion. It declares that harm—physical, emotional, moral, or psychological—is never the primary course of action, regardless of circumstance, motive, or provocation.

The phrase “let alone in defense of self” is deliberate and firm. It teaches that even in situations of personal conflict or perceived threat, a Triskelion is expected to exercise restraint, sound judgment, and self-control before force. Self-defense is recognized, but violence is never glorified, encouraged, or used as a first response. Power without discipline is rejected.

The words “for whatever cause man has come into being, for whatever reason he exists, for whatever he is destined” affirm the intrinsic value of every human life. No individual has the authority to diminish, abuse, or harm another based on belief, background, status, or difference. Every person’s existence carries purpose and dignity, and this tenet demands respect for that truth.

The directive “keep to all living creatures around him” extends this responsibility beyond human interaction. It binds a Triskelion to a broader ethic of respect for life itself—toward people, animals, and the environment. Wanton cruelty, abuse, or disregard for life directly contradicts the Code of Conduct.

The concluding statement, “Man is brother unto man,” defines the philosophical core of the fraternity. It asserts universal brotherhood and equality. To harm another is to betray this bond and to act in opposition to the principles upon which the fraternity stands.

In alignment with the Code of Conduct, Primum Nil Nocere is not symbolic language nor poetic expression—it is a rule of conduct. It demands discipline over impulse, humanity over aggression, and conscience over emotion. It affirms that the true measure of a Triskelion is not his capacity to inflict harm, but his ability to prevent it.

This post serves to educate and remind Triskelions of proper discipline and moral guidance. 𝐓 No. 2 is a publicly acknowledged principle and is not part of Capital N. It reflects the values and standards of a Triskelion and may be shared for public understanding.

“The Tau Gamma Phi is the Triskelions' Grand Fraternity , My Fraternity, the Supreme Fraternity.”

𝐓 #1, affirms that Tau Gamma Phi is the one and only Grand Fraternity of every Triskelion.

When a man becomes a Triskelion, he does not merely join a local chapter or a group of individuals — he becomes part of a single, unified, and supreme brotherhood that transcends chapters, councils, regions, and generations.

Calling Tau Gamma Phi the Grand Fraternity means that it is the highest and ultimate fraternity identity of a Triskelion.

All chapters, councils, and organizational structures exist under and within Tau Gamma Phi — never above it.
The phrase “My Fraternity, the Supreme Fraternity” is a declaration of absolute loyalty and commitment.
It means that for a Triskelion:

⚫ Tau Gamma Phi comes before personal interests

⚫ Before local affiliations

⚫ Before pride, ego, or faction

⚫ Before any outside organization or influence

Being “supreme” does not mean domination over others; rather, it signifies discipline, honor, responsibility, and moral authority.

A Triskelion is expected to uphold the fraternity’s name with integrity, humility, and courage at all times.

𝐓 #1 also reminds every Triskelion that there is only ONE Tau Gamma Phi, regardless of differences in chapter, rank, or seniority.

No Triskelion is greater than the fraternity, and no position is higher than the principles it stands for.

IN PRACTICE, THIS TENET MEANS:

A Triskelion respects the fraternity above himself
He acts in ways that protect the name and honor of Tau Gamma Phi.

He avoids actions that cause division, disrespect, or disgrace.

He recognizes every Triskelion as a brother under one Grand Fraternity.

𝐓 #1 teaches us that Tau Gamma Phi is not just an organization — it is our identity.

To be a Triskelion is to carry the fraternity’s name, values, and honor wherever we go.

One Fraternity.
One Brotherhood.
One Triskelion Identity.

LOOK: Eumir Marcial capped off the boxing competitions at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games with a golden finish, ensuring the Philippines heads home with a gold medal in the sport.

Marcial outlasted Maikhe Roberrd Muskita of Indonesia in the gold medal bout.
