Valentine’s Day, Love for Nature! 🌏❤️

A wave of volunteers swept across the shores this Valentine's Day, coming together for a heartwarming coastal cleanup! They picked up trash, protected marine life, and made the beach a cleaner, safer place.

ISEE Candon highly appreciates the initiatives of Toyota Candon of their commitment towards protecting our Environment. To every Eco Warriors, from our host City Environment and Natural Resources, to CDRM, Tamurong Brgy Officials, DRGMNHS, CCHS BSP, HPTG, PNP, PCG, and to all volunteers who attended, thank you so much for your participation.

The ISEE Candon chapter participated in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 of ISEE on January 9-11, 2026, at Kadilyan Eco Park, Solot-solot, San Juan, Ilocos Sur.

Together with the various Ilocos Sur Environmental Enthusiasts chapters from Ilocos Sur, they ignited a spark of inspiration, sharing expertise and experiences on amplifying service, championing environmental stewardship, forging unbreakable bonds of collaboration and camaraderie, and cultivating visionary leadership.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Lourd Anderson, Jo James, Marvi Fernando, and Yitschaq Mercado for representing our chapter. We also would like to thank the ISEE Banayoyo Chapter President Eduard Thody Ollero and with their LGU Banayoyo for the transportation assistance and to our adviser, Rex Novida, for sponsoring the membership fee and meals for our representatives.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, 𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗥 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦! 💚

The 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 (𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘) has been officially accredited and recognized by the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗚𝗬𝗣) for its steadfast commitment to advancing youth-led initiatives aligned with the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀).

Through this accreditation, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 (𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘) is now officially accredited, joining a global community of youth organizations driving sustainable change.

Established in 2025, the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 is a five-year initiative that supports the achievement of the SDGs. Co-implemented by 𝗨𝗡 𝗦𝗗𝗦𝗡 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 (𝗬𝗦𝗡), and the 𝗨𝗡 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, the program empowers young leaders to drive collective action toward the 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

This milestone marks another step for 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 (𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘) in expanding partnerships, amplifying youth-driven action, and championing sustainability for present and future generations. 💚

Dear valued partners,

We appreciate your continued support for ISEE Candon's environmental advocacy. Due to members' work and academic commitments we regret that we're unavailable for weekday invites and activities. Our pioneering members are currently employed, with some working outside the city and our new members are students and are in the midst of exam week.

Despite this, our commitment to environmental education, protection, and conservation remains unwavering. We'll strive to collaborate and initiate activities whenever possible, ensuring our advocacy endures. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to working together.

In celebration of the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 and 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the ISEE Candon collaborated with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Candon City to conduct a coastal cleanup drive held at Darapidap Candon City, Ilocos Sur on September 7, 2025.

Different waves of SK Officials together with the SPECIAL FORCES TEAM 405 "BAKIR", Samahang Ilocano Independent Inc. and Youth Volunteers participated in this momentous and meaningful event.

Ilocos Sur Environmental Enthusiasts encourages every youth to join the movement to protect our beloved Candon City and create a sustainable future. Every small action counts, and with the combined efforts of the youths we can make a BIG difference! 🌏

In line with the celebration of the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 and 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the Ilocos Sur Environmental Enthusiasts Candon Chapter will collaborate with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Candon City headed by the SK Federated Present 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚 on September 7, 2025, 6 o’clock in the morning at Darapidap Candon City, Ilocos Sur.

The event will consist of Coastal Cleanup Drive, Youth Leadership Seminar and Workshop focusing on “Local Youth Actions for the SDG’s and Beyond”, Amazing Race and many more.

We invite every Ilocano Youths as well to participate in our coastal cleanup event as we aim for SDG 13 which is climate action, environmental protection and conservation.

Project Abono Organico: Sargassum Seaweed Fertilizer

Sargassum is a type of brown seaweed that floats on the ocean's surface, forming large mats.

This type of seaweed is abundant in the coastal area of Darapidap, Candon City, Ilocos Sur. Every time we conduct Project Dalluyon: A coastal cleanup drive, this type of seaweed is present. So why not turn it into a good use — a fertilizer for our loved farmers?

Sargassum seaweed contains NPK compounds, the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Nitrogen is good at making the leaves grow. Phosphorus improves fruit and/or flower production as well as root growth. Potassium is great for overall plant.

Together with the Candon Youth For Empowerment Movement, Inc., we will create an eco friendly fertilizer that will help agricultural crops for our farmers from Candon City, Ilocos Sur.

The ISEE Candon Chapter attended the ISEE 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 with the theme, “𝘙𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘍𝘐𝘝𝘌: 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘝𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵”, that was held on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟳–𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 at the 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 – 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿.

This is a 3-day immersive experience dedicated to strengthening our mission to protect, preserve, and promote the environment through intergenerational collaboration. This year’s theme aims to unite young leaders and seasoned advocates to create lasting impact.
