In a very special way, we would also like to honor and thank the exceptionally talented youth who, despite their hectic schedules and numerous commitments, remained steadfast in their dedication to this celebration. Your commitment, passion, and willingness to offer your time and talents in service to God and the community is truly admirable. Even in the face of many challenges, you chose to persevere, fueled by a love for God that transcends all obstacles. Your vibrant energy, creativity, and hard work have left an indelible mark on this event, making it not just a performance but a true offering of praise and thanksgiving. Indeed, through your sacrifices, perseverance, and unwavering faith, we have proven that with God at the center, all things are possible. We made it — together — and for that, we give all glory to God.

DRAG SHOW| part 1 | April 26, 2025

It was a resounding success, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone who made the event truly unforgettable. The evening was filled with creativity, vibrancy, and a genuine spirit of unity, showcasing the diverse talents within our faith community. It was a beautiful reminder that through acceptance, celebration, and artistic expression, we can build stronger bonds and inspire one another to live more fully and authentically.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the outstations of Tanabog and Cabungan, whose active participation, dedication, and energy brought life and color to the celebration. Your contributions were invaluable and deeply appreciated. To the Parish of Tambongan, thank you for your steadfast support, your willingness to journey with us, and for inspiring everyone with your spirit of camaraderie and joy. Your presence and efforts have truly elevated the success of our event, and we are profoundly thankful for the time, talent, and heart you have so generously shared. May we continue to move forward together, strengthened by faith, fellowship, and the enduring love that unites us all. And to our Priest, Rev. Fr. Ariel Acerda.

In solemn reflection, the Mission of Cadapdapan gathered to meditate on the Seven Last Words of Jesus, each word a powerful reminder of His mercy, love, and forgiveness.

Through His final moments on the cross, we are called to renew our faith, forgive as we have been forgiven, and trust in God's divine will.

1. “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
Luke 23:34
A word of forgiveness — Jesus forgives even in His suffering. May we learn to forgive as He forgave.

2. “Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Luke 23:43
A word of salvation — A promise of hope for those who turn to Him, even at the last moment.

3. “Woman, behold your son. Son, behold your mother.”
John 19:26-27
A word of relationship — Jesus gives us Mary as our spiritual mother, even in His final moments.

4. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Matthew 27:46 & Mark 15:34
A word of abandonment — Jesus shares in our deepest pain and loneliness, showing He is with us in our suffering.

5. “I thirst.”
John 19:28
A word of distress — Jesus, fully human, expresses physical thirst—but also a spiritual thirst for souls.

6. “It is finished.”
John 19:30
A word of completion — The mission of love and redemption is fulfilled. Salvation is accomplished.

7. “Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit.”
Luke 23:46
A word of reunion — Jesus entrusts His spirit to the Father, showing us the way to surrender completely to God.

Together as one community, the Mission of Cadapdapan reflected on these powerful words that echo the depth of Christ’s love. May His sacrifice guide us to live lives of mercy, faith, and hope.

“Behold the wood of the Cross, on which hung the salvation of the world.”

On this solemn Good Friday, the whole mission of Cadapdapan, including the outstations, Cabungan and Tanabog Chapel, came together in reverence and deep reflection. As we venerated the Holy Cross, we remembered Christ’s immense love and sacrifice — a love that binds us in faith and unites us as one community.

May this day inspire us to carry our own crosses with courage and hope, just as Jesus did for us all.
