Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria

Ginoo is a Filipino word which means "man" or “gentleman” and Binibini means “woman” or “young lady. Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria is a beauty contest held annualy in Candelaria, Quezon, Philippines. GBC is officially registered as Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria (GBC) Inc. at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with company registration number CS202004270.

Our Ginoong Candelaria Tourism 2024, John Piolo Magadia, Mister International Philippines – Quezon Province (Culture) 2026, paid a courtesy call at the LGU Candelaria – Sangguniang Bayan, where he was warmly received and commended by the members of the council headed by Hon. Vice Mayor Ireneo Boongaling.

During the visit, John Piolo humbly paid tribute as he received a commendation from the Sangguniang Bayan, recognizing his remarkable achievement and the honor he continues to bring to the Municipality of Candelaria and the Province of Quezon.

Our Brief History

The Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria (GBC) is a 15-year-old pageant in Candelaria, Quezon which primarily aims to open doors of opportunities to its winners and candidates in numerous fields of entertainment and pageant. GBC started as an advocacy of Mr. Dave Lirio, the founder. He envisioned uplifting the young ginoo and binibinis of Candelaria to be role models while empowering them to be the best Kings and Queens during and after their reign. With this, GBC continues to shine despite the hardships and successes in the past years because of our past candidates and winners.

With this, we can confidently say that we already produced remarkable winners who represented Candelaria, both in provincial and national pageants, luckily, some of them even went home with crowns on their heads. The most recent victory was produced by our Bb. Candelaria SK 2019, Ma. Andrea Endicio who was crowned as the 1st Miss Galaxy Philippines last October 18, 2019 at the Coronation Night of Philippine Global Queens. Some winners and candidates even tried their luck in showbiz entertainment and modelling, thus proving that we are a work in progress in achieving our goals and advocacy that aims to empower the younger generation with enough knowledge, develop their skills and hone their God given talents, making them ready for the challenges ahead of them. Hence, GBC earns the moniker of being the longest and still the most prestigious pageant in town.

This 2020 marks a new era for Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria. New and exciting things for our 16th Kings and Queens!
