(JMH) is a non-profit and non-stock organization in the Philippines that primarily operates in the Bicol Region specializing in microfinance. Conceived and founded by the Honrado Family, known for their rural banking experience, JMH was registered on October 7, 2004, under SEC Registration No. 29482 with the name J.M Honrado Foundation (JMHFI). To alleviate poverty and promote socio-economic devel

opment, JMHFI began its operations in Sorsogon City and afterward branched out into other provinces such as Camarines Sur, Albay, and Masbate. On May 16, 2017, JMHFI amended its name to JMH Microfinance, Inc., with the primary purpose of implementing microenterprise development programs and providing clients with microfinance products and services. At present, JMH offers an array of microfinance products that cater to clients’ specific needswhether it is for business, education, health, and other purposes. Additional to this credit facility, JMH offers insurance programs and mobilizes mandatory and voluntary savings from the clients along with its non-financial services that focus on facilitating social service, members’ and enterprise development programs. JMH, driven by its mission to continually provide responsive and efficient financial and nonfinancial services for the socio-economic development of its stakeholders, expanded to thirty-two (32) branches all over the Bicol region with its Home office located at CRH Building, Salugan, Camalig, Albay. As of October 15, 2021, JMH has a total loan portfolio of Php268 Million, servicing more than thirty thousand (30,000) active clients. is a regular member of the Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc., and compliant with the rules and regulations imposed by Microfinance NGO Regulatory Council (MNRC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and its partner agencies. JMH’s day-to-day operations are handled by a team of more than two hundred-fifty (250) employed locals, directed by a Board of Directors composed of individuals with experiences that are vital in leading the continuous path of JMH in being the Best Microfinance in the region.
